Anyone offended with GU Flags???

I was creeping on peoples bucketts and noticed GU Flags, and for some reason I go really ****** off that the car companies would do that. I know its no big deal, but deep down inside i think its messed up. Just wanted to know what everyone though!

well i tried to find a picture, but cant seem to find one. for instance how there are GU jerseys and GU patches, i saw a GU patch and it was of a piece of an american flag...

I could see where it can be construed as desecrating a flag....

im assuming they dont like the thought of the cutting up of an american flag or any flag for that matter?

I dont have a problem with seeing as theirs millions of flags and its pretty cool memorabilia stuff and if thye dont do that itll just get lost in the shuffle anyways.

It is taken the american flag, something that people have died for hundreds of years' cutting them up and putting them in baseball cards.

not at all, it IS part of their uniform, they aren't cutting the flag, they are cutting around the flag patch without disturbing it and putting it on for display. They do this for all sports and most do it for several countries. I don't see any problem with it. Its part of their uniform and the card companies are not doing anything to disrespect. Another note is that these are some of the favorite cards of some players that have been asked about it and they have great pride in having a card that displays them by the country they represent

Very nice pics duwal! Now that we can see a picture, those cards don't give the appearance of desecrating a flag.

nope i love the looks of those cards im a proud canadian and would love a card with some canadian flag in it :)
