The cards pictured are pretty cool and unique. I don't find anything offensive about them. If there were cards with a piece of a flag, I can see people getting upset, and would understand why, though I would not feel personally offended.

this was one of their first attempts, it was back in 2004, believe its called National Treasures and as you can see from the background they wanted to make it a pro-America card. I wouldn't have a problem even if they did cut it up, they are still doing it out of respect. They aren't showing it upside down or doing anything malicious to it. And its not a regular flag that waves in the breeze, its a manufactured patch. If we think this is bad we might as well think something like when the post office stamps a date over the Forever stamp flag as defacing the image of the flag

Great topic!
I commend you for your patriotism. Having served in the military, along with my son, my father, and my grandfathers, during times of war, I truly do appreciate your concern for the flag and its rightful place of honor and respect. However, an effigy, or image, of the flag should not be considered the same as an actual flag. It is a patch of a flag, not an actual flag.
Here is an excerpt from USFlag.org- http://www.usflag.org/flagetiquette.htmlThe flag should not be used as part of a costume or athletic uniform, except that a flag patch may be used on the uniform of military personnel, fireman, policeman and members of patriotic organizations.I would consider US National team members of any sport to qualify as members of patriotic organizations.
I personally like the cards depicted. You may choose to protest by not buying those cards or collecting them but I wouldn't let yourself get too hung up over it.
This is mine from my uniform -
