Thread should now be done. This is the best post of the whole topic and makes the most sense....
Being a hockey fan, I don't get to watch much basketball over the year (seeing the seasons mirror each other), and being mostly a Raptors fan (c'mon, I am Canadian), I still tend to watch the 3rd and final round of the playoffs every year, and here's what I saw...
Lebron has the heart of a lion, and they should have went farther, in his mind, they were capable of such, and his supporting cast let him down. By the end, he was out of gas....he probably stormed out because he needed a nap....I am not sure what he averaged after the series, but he came close to a record 40 PPG, 8 Assists and 8 rebounds average over the series....not even Jordan has ever done that....
The Cavs couldn't keep Howard in check, just like the rest of the league, the guy is massive, and will continue to get better over his career, good on him for making it to the finals, but unfortunately, the Lakers will win again.
So, Lebron's heart and fatigue may have coincided with him not wanting to congratulate the Magic, when you feel you have a chance at the holy grail, and you come up short, I would be PO'd too....

Class is overrated....kinda like the Cavs. JK, seriously though, tough loss for Cleveland, I kinda feel bad for their fans, kinda. This was their year man, no doubt, kinda like my
16-0 Pats a couple of years ago....they just got outmatched, and the other team wanted it more.
As for the class....who cares if a guy doesn't shake hands, or congratulate the other team. Sometimes you do, sometimes you don't, their is no rule either written or unwritten that states you have to do any of that. That was a big game, and the Cavs weren't supposed to lose, and emotions catch up with people, (yes folks, Lebron is human afterall, not some robot) he was frustrated and just wanted to get out of there, and I don't really blame him.
Also, I don't see the big deal with Howard taking a wild shot either....it's not like he ran in and dunked it (he did that enough on those guys all night long so he just wanted to mix it up a bit) The kid was just having fun.

He took a three! So what? Its a basketball shot, he was just making a basketball play. Taking the three is a lot more entertaining than watching the team drain out the clock. I can understand why a Cleveland fan like yourself would be mad, because you probobly want Lebron to stay in Cleveland, but what D-12 did was fine.

actually there IS an unwritten rule to congratulate the other team on the court after a tough series, which is why this is being made into a big deal when one of the best players in the league doesn't follow it.

It's sore, not soar. So, I'm not allowed to be mad when
a.) my team, who had the best record all season, loses in the ECF and puts me through yet another Cleveland heartbreak?
b.) Howard, their superstar, throws up a three pointer with time still on the clock to try and make the final score be 16 instead of 13? That's the most unsportsmanlike thing you can do in basketball. You never see a team, when they have the ball for the last posession and are winning, actually ATTEMPT a shot when the game clock will run out before they'd have to. It's an absolute slap in the face....and you'd be mad too if Dwight did it with the Magic up 10 and have the ball as they clinch the NBA Finals on you guys. So don't even go there.
You guys are all making a big deal out of LeBron because you all hate him, yet when Dwight does something much worse as far as SPORTSMANSHIP goes, no one cares because you all hate LeBron.
I'm allowed to be mad that the Cavs lost. And I'm allowed to be mad that Dwight tried to rub it in with that shot. BOTTOM LINE.
You people all have no clue what it's like to have to like three sports teams that NEVER win.

This isn't hockey. You don't have to congratulate the winning team.
And where was this thread when CP3 walked off the court without congratulating any Mavericks guys in the first round this year?
Oh look....ANOTHER superstar who did the same ting.
