    Best player on your team

I wanted to see what everyone thinks out there of your teams and players.

I follow the Flyers more than anyone and I think Giroux is the best player we have seen in the last 5 years. I wanted to get some opinions on other teams and who do you think is worth the most on the team since many teams one player sees all the glory but you may think someone totally different is much better.

I think Crosby sees too much glory while Ovechkin is a great player but these are other teams and other examples.

Briere and Richards are the best on the Flyers imo, Giroux is still young and Gange is past his prime

Vanek and Miller are the best on my Sabres, bar none, but Id like to say I think people vastly underestimate Derek Roy and Tim Connolly

Best player that Montreal has under contract? Well, with only about a dozen players under contract right now, I think Markov is our best right now.

I hope to soon exchange that answer for Lecavalier, or Kovalchuk, but for now it's Markov.

I'm going to move this into hockey talk since it's more about actual on-ice players than their cards.

Depending on the night, the period, even the shift, Alex Kovalev. In one night, he can be the most dominant, most infuriating, most exciting, most lazy, and most incredible player on the ice. At the back end, Andrei Markov has quietly grown into a Norris Trophy-calibre d-man. He logs the most ice time of anybody on the team against the opposition's best players, he is QB on the power play, he kills penalties, he does it all. The Habs were 0-8 after that little twerp Grabovski took a run at his knee - say no more!

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Rangers - Henrik Lundvist, Marc Staal...Herik is the Franchise player though..but the Rangers have some kids coming up in the next 2-3 years that are gonna make an impact as well...they have a great group of young D-Men...and they are gonna make King Henrik look even better in the near future.....now if they could just score !

Giroux is a great prospect but he has a way to go. Give him 5 years and he will be the guy. I don't see him better than a 25G/50PT guy until that time.

As much as it contradicts my collecting, Mike Richards is still the best Flyer. He is so well rounded. He can score, check, run a PP, penalty kill, scrap when necessary, etc. Hands down if I had to pick one Flyer as a competitor it would be him.

nope. what drew did this year was amazing. his hockey sense left me dumbfounded, his raw ability left me stunned, and his coast to coast skill left me in tears. this kid is a god.
