Best player on your team

For the Carolina Hurricanes I would have to say Cam Ward. He won us that stanley cup in 2006 and was the biggest asset to our team during that run (and has that Conn Smythe to prove it). And this season/playoffs in particular he really brought his game back up to that level and carried us further than anyone expected us to go by outdueling maybe the greatest goalie of our generation (Brodeur) and the Vezina Winner this season I'm thinking (Tim Thomas) in the playoffs, along with salvaging our regular season to get us there in the first place. When Cam is on his game, he brings the whole team up with him, it's a real shot in the arm when Wardo is at the top of his game.

hard not to agree with that, and that is coming from a team with Eric Staal....when Cam is on, there are few better.

My opinion is a toss up between Roberto Luongo and the Sedin twins....can't really come to an agreement with myself (and the voices)...lol...If we are talking playoffs then def the Twins as they showed up and played hard every night...

When I look at Vancouver I look at the team's stats with Luongo and without. The Sedins in my opinion are an easy second.

Who I really like though is Burrows! Great two way player with character!

Yeah I here you man, if the question was favorite player, Burrows would win hands down...that kid plays like a madman some nights...I hope he can keep it up for next year after he got his contract extension.

Chris Mason's play was the main reason the Blues ended up in the playoffs. As for skaters I think Boyes and Backes are the Blues top players

Agreed man. I put Cam up there because when he's on he is a monster. Eric Staal is too and I'm a big fan of his, it's just that sometimes he gets on his hot streaks and his cold ones and becomes invisible out there. Wardo can bounce back from one bad game as few and far between as they are, Eric sometimes just gets in a rut, but when he gets his game on, he's pretty dominant as well. (New Jersey series and portions of the Boston series for example)
