Haha I haven't played in awhile so I can't give my opinion on the current goalie equipment debate but when I tried a pair of Vaughn Pads once I did really like them so I'm gonna have to agree with Andy lol

Played tonight against the 4-0 "Cathode Rays" led by an ex player of ours, and our ex goalie....
Mongooses fought back from a steep 5-2 deficit in the first to emerge victorious in a thrilling 8-7 Overtime victory. SCF's own Joe Dorsey (jmdorsey) with the 5 hole winner on a 2 on 1 about 1:30 into the 5 minute O.T.
Mongooses now sit in a tie for first place in the league at 5-1. Great game :)

Thanks man. Yesterday was a nice win. It was definitely the best team we've played so far this session. There is one other team that we havent played yet that is good. Conveniently the team is led by the 2 sons of the guy who runs the league. They are consequently STACKED every session lol

haha thanks Andrew. Were surprising alot of people (especially ourselves) with out best start ever at 5-1. Team chemistry has definitely improved this session as compared to past ones...

Why does your league use a ball, btw? What's the age limit/ structure/ general hockey background for most players
