Great signing! Fantastic! I don't care for him, or his attitude, but he can still play, and hopefully he just keeps his attitude in check. I doubt this'll be their last move of the offseason, especially with the rumors of Grant Hill coming to Beantown.
Big rumor now is that Big Baby won't be a Celtic since they got 'Sheed. We'll see what happens with that.
If they trade Big Baby, that would be stupid...he is shaping up to be a significant player, and is one of only 2 young big men on the roster...they really need to keep him.
Poor Boston is too desperate to win another championship, while the Lakers are focused on building a dynasty! :)
Well, what are they supposed to do? They have 3 older players who only have a window of 2-3 years to win more titles...so, go for it now...it worked for them in the 2007 offseason!
I'm not sure if this makes the Celtics a better team. Even if they sign Grant Hill too.
It certainly doesn't make them worse...they lacked depth at the PF/C positions, although that was due to lots of injuries....but, you can't go wrong with a proven vet when you don't give up anyone.

GM Danny Ainge has said to the Boston Herald that he would like to re-sign Davis "sooner rather than later".
It really sounds like House and Davis maybe getting re-signed, and that Starbury will be the odd man out.

Davis is a no-brainer...House has the potential to light up the score board on any given night (31 points in a playoff game)...Marbury definitely seems like the odd man out, especially since he turned down a contract offer from the Celtics...but, I wouldn't mind keeping him if they can, as he has the potential to still play at a high level...last year couldn't prove it, but he also hadn't played in over a year...if he does play this year, he should still be a decent threat.

I believe that House already exercised his option to stay. Most teams have now backed off of Davis which means financially speaking he may be the odd man out. With Sheed coming in though Davis will lose most of his minutes. If I were him I would take less money and go to a team that I can play for right away.

Rasheed Wallace is going to be a starter. If they really want to win again theyn need to use him from the start of the game. This are just rumors. He is going to be way better on Boston and he is going to behave better also.
