Cup checklist is always solid ever year. No wonder I already have 7 cases sold from the 10 I got coming in. I try to get more but too late now. But can't wait till the singles start popping on the bay after ppl. trying to recoup some amount by the huge chunk of change they spend breaking tin after tin.

It's official; no Latendresse to chase this year. That's two consecutive years of the Cup, and few appearances in other products this year, with the exception of ITG BBR. This is actually a pretty big relief, and is allowing me to keep my percentage figures pretty high, so no complaints. I would like to see him on a "property of" one day though.

Other than that, a solid looking set, whose faults have already been well covered - a questionable /99 RC crop, and several very questionable "Propert Of" selections.

Yeah ever since his rookie year the amount of stuff for Gui! has dropped dramatically. Obviously it does for every player but he's getting tough to find. Did he even have any autos in products this year other than Artifacts?

That's actually fairly accurate. I've still never seen a copy of the Cup Foundations Patch / Auto (x/5) from last year's set.

I'm really torn. If I could find a few of the dozen cards I'm still missing, spending the money there instead of on new product.... I think I could go for it. It's just very rare that anything pops up. I was getting pretty sick of trying to hunt down 563 different Artifacts parallels each year, so when I didn't need to chase after any of them for the 08-09 season, I was pretty happy (and he's not on the 09-10 checklist either).

I do like getting at least a handful of new higher end stuff every year. There were 3 cards from SPGU for me to hunt down (got them). Would have been nice to see 1, 2, or even 3 cards #ed in the 10-25 range from The Cup.... but what can you do?

You know dude, you can't win either way with UD these days when it comes to chasing a certain veteran player. (the rookies are always givens)

You hope for nice Cup cards and then you get SHELLED with more than you can handle or you end up with nothing. There is no middle ground with UD.

Honestly, I'd be happy with nothing with the economy the way it is, no one wants to try and chase cards as much as they used to. I bet you'd probably be pulling your hair out if Ranford got in.

Not really a whole lot for me to chase, still weird that Pogge is /99 and Mason isn't but that's a different story

Would like to grab some nice Gragnani stuff along the way with the Miller's in the set. Just a few Stastny's to grab hopefully I'll be able to get some stuff.

Yeah that Masterpieces section took a lot of scrolling to get through.

Aspirants to the SCF Supercollector program will be happy to know that 1/1s are being given separate consideration from the rest of the player's card list.

What do you mean by that? Say you have 50 1/1's of a player, they count as some sort of "bonus"?

He's had a few autos this year, but very few for UD, and what he did have was mainly in releases before the all star break. He was in UD signatures, OPC signatures, Artifacts(no auto in Artifacts actually IIRC), and then several in bleu blanc rouge. All told, I think he's had less than 90 cards this year, including parallels, press plates, and 1/1's.
I find myself hoping he doesn't show up in a lot going forward, as I still have a lot to chase from previous years, primarily plates.
