Chicago Blackhawk and Buffalo Native Patrick Kane was arrested early Sunday morning.
According to the Buffalo Police, Patrick Kane and James Kane have been charged with theft of services, criminal mischief and robbery in the second degree.
The incident happened on Eastwood Place in the city, after the two men took a cab from Chippewa St. and got into an altercation with the cab driver about the fare. The driver appears to have suffered cuts to his face and his glasses were damaged, after apparently being struck in the head and face area."

I know he's young,and I'd bet the cabbie is exaggerating to some extent, but as an NHLer he should know better than that.

He won't do any time. Besides his NHL status, his dad is a prominent local businessman. That being sad, even if he is innocent I'm glad I stopped collecting him...I began to dislike his smug attitude.

It was nice to see Kane, A South Buffalo native, go number 1 overall, to win the calder, to a great playoffs. Nice to root for a feel good home grown talent, and I hope these reports are an over exaggeration, but to think a prominent young NHL star would lose his mind over .20 cents is ridiculous and hopefully he learns a valuable lesson in humility regardless of outcome.
