I don't agreee with what you are saying at all, look at my feedback, I think it's pretty good for a 13 year old... 0 negs and only 2 neutrals (neither of which were for shipping, and 1 was for no reason at all)

Guys it's ok... there is really no need for every good trader under 18 to stand up and say "hey I am a good trader". I have dealt with plenty on here under 18 that are. I have also dealt with a couple of over 18s that could take a lesson from some of those under 18ers.
Without going in circles at this point my issue is strictly with the fact that an adult (or even a fellow under 18) need to understand the legal risks of trading with someone under 18. I don't mean trading with kids should stop because one thing this hobby and business needs is more kids. The card manufacturers have done their best to drive kids away so anything that kieeps younger people interested is a good thing.
All I can say for me is, yeah I will make small trades all day with anyone here. But if I end up making some of my better stuff available, I won't be trading any of it to anyone under 18 even if they are willing to send first because the law is not going to be with me if something goes wrong.

Personally, I think you will find the same amount of bad traders, slow shippers, whatever from kids and adults. Most of the time, I'm just happy the card I traded for shows up, no matter how late it was sent but a pm would be nice to let me know.

You've traded with me before, and you had no problem. I bet you didn't even know I was a kid.

Please read exactly what I wrote... or let me quote it..
"All I can say for me is, yeah I will make small trades all day with anyone here"
So yes, I would gladly trade with either of you to a point. Sporty our trade went perfect and I would be happy to do another with you anytime.
That doesnt change the fact that there is no way I would set up a $100+ deal with someone under 18 without a parent present and that goes for here, at a show or anywhere else.
Sorry if that offends either of you but again, the law is not on the side of an adult if something goes wrong. When I had my shop or set up at shows it was the same thing. Anyone under 18 needed to have a parent or guardian present or I would not buy or trade with them.
It isn't meant to be an insult. It is just knowing the law and the rights of a minor when it comes to business.
Would you make a big trade with someone if you knew a year or two later they could come back and say "I want my card back" ? Then if you no longer have your card it becomes a mess! Not a big deal if you are talking about $20-$30 and certainly worth the risk to me because I enjoy trading.
But here is a perfect example...
A few weeks back I traded a 2000 Contenders Urlacher RC AU to a guy locally (over 18) for a Peyton Manning AU.
At the time it was a trade actually slightly in his favor based on book value. But now that Urlacher is hurt and done for the year and who knows, maybe for good.... if this was a kid he could come back and say " I don't like the trade I want my Manning back"
I spent several semesters at Indiana learning business law and contracts. I am not going to apologize for taking steps to protect both sides in a transaction. For the LAST time, this isn't meant to start a confrontation between those over and under 18. It started off with me being annoyed by a couple of kids who were taking forever to ship and got me thinking about my rights in these cases which lead me to wanting the tag put on minors.
I think I have done both the over and under 18s a favor by pointing out the rights and responsibilities of both sides.
I see no need to continue spinning around on it since the tag I asked for is not going to happen.
Let's get back to trading :)
