I thought he had one more year on his deal...he's a free agent when LBJ and Wade are too? Thought they were in different years...

NBATV was talking about it earlier and said it's an expiring contract.....so I'm assuming that's the case.

Rockets may keep Tmac. Being that Yao comes off the books as well so they'll have alot of room to work with

They could.....but I think it would suck to be paying someone $23 million to sit on the bench and do nothing. I'd imagine they'd at least want to try and get something out of him, if at all possible.
Although $23 million is a lot....it'd be tough for other teams to bite at a contract like that.
