Attended the Detroit Pistons' open practice at the Palace of Auburn Hills today. Got the following to sign for me after the practice:

Detroit Lions' rookie running back, Jahvid Best, was doing a paid signing appearance for the Detroit City Sports store out at the Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi, MI. Got Jahvid to sign my photo and asked if he would include the inscription of "9-12-10: 1st NFL TD!" on it, which he did.

I did a mail order for that signing hopefully he will keep up the good work and win roy the prices were really good

Graphed the Milwaukee Bucks at their hotel after work today. Got the following to sign for me as they boarded the bus before the game:

Ersan Ilyasova - 0/1 (looked at the crowd and just boarded the bus without signing)

Drew Gooden - 0/1 (didn't even acknowledge the crowd and just got on the bus)

John Salmons - 0/1 (came out shortly while Bogut was still signing; someone asked if he could sign, he looked as if he was coming over but boarded the bus instead)

John Brockman, Larry Sanders, and Tiny Gallon signed, but I didn't get them. Brandon Jennings rushed (with his head phones on) and ignored everybody as he got on the bus. Everybody else just ignored. Corey Maggette and Michael Redd didn't make the trip.

Attended a small independent wrestling show, XICW, at the Ritz in Warren, MI. Former original ECW wrestler, Axl Rotten, was the main draw, so got Axl to sign my "ECW: The Most Violet Matches" DVD cover and bought a 8 x 10 photo from him as well.

Hit up the Atlanta Hawks' hotel for some graphing after work today. There were only a total of 4 graphers there. Got the following to sign for me as they boarded the bus to the game at the Palace:

Al Horford - 0/1 (ignored request as he got on the bus)

Mike Bibby - 0/1 (used the old busy-on-cell phone trick to get on the bus)

assistant coach Lester Conner - 0/1 (missed him as I was getting Joe)

Josh Smith - 0/1 (came out with his head phones on and ignored the 4 of us)


Richard Delk and Ricardo Marsh signed, but I didn't get them. Nobody needed Jordan Crawford, Josh Powell, or Pape Sy. Jason Collins, Jeff Teague, Maurice Evans, Jamal Crawford, Marvin Williams, and Hawks' Vice President of Basketball Dominique Wilkins didn't make the trip.

Attended the "Lions Review" local sports talk radio show at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Detroit today. Regular co-host and Lions' wide receiver Nate Burleson wasn't there today, but filling in for him this week was Lions' defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch. Only brought a Lions micro helmet, so got Kyle to sign that for me.

Attended the Detroit Pistons' final preseason game versus the Memphis Grizzlies at the Palace today. Arrived there early and graphed the Grizzlies during pregame shoot around. Got the following to sign for me:

Marc Gasol - 0/1 (signed before I got there as he made his way to the court; after finishing with shoot around, headed directly to the back)

Zach Randolph - 0/1 (signed here and there for the crowd, skipped over alot of people)


Hamed Haddadi signed, but I didn't need him. O.J. Mayo and the rest of the roster didn't come out.

James Harden - 0/1 (ignored all request with his headphones on as he got on the bus)

Jeff Green - 0/1 (came out and signed the same time Russell was signing, so decided to skip him and got Russell instead)


Eric Maynor and Serge Ibaka signed, but I didn't need them. Cole Aldrich ignored all request. And nobody needed Royal Ivey.

Sherron Collins and Gerald Henderson signed, but I didn't need them. Bobcats' television commentator and former NBA player, Dell Curry, signed but I didn't have anything for him. Nobody needed Derrick Brown.
