Panini redemption rant!!
I'm trying to figure this one out but it's getting me more and more fired up every time I think about it. I'm sitting here waiting for redemption on Eberle's Zenith and Luxury Suite RC's yet Dominion which was released way after those two products has hard signed Eberle RC's in pack...........maybe it's just me but why would they release new product with nice on card auto's before they take care of the redemptions from the same player??

Call them. I had to do it last week for a Karlsson from Certified. They had them in stock and sent it out right away. I have no idea why I had to call to get it going but I did. They are sending me some packs as a sorry and gave me the choice of serial #/25 that I wanted. (I was the first to contact them about the card so asked for 1/25)
GL on getting them in hand

What's to say that they didn't send everything all at once to the player and he's the one that hasn't signed them? Dominion, you'll recall, was a hand-packed product so they needed to have those in-house and QC's on a top-priority basis. Perhaps they simply did those first and are going through the regular channels for the Zenith & Luxury Suite RCs. The simple truth is that we don't know when players return their cards, when they sign them, and the behind-the-scenes action at the card companies. For all we know, the Eberle rookies that were redemptions could be shipping out this week.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I hear that contacting them over the phone is a real nightmare. Any chance they might have given you a phone # with straight access? I have 2 redemptions that I know the players have signed and cards have been sent (saw some on Ebay and in some buckets), but my requests are still pending.
Thx!

Just because they're hand packed is no reason to need them in house, thats why they have redemption card to fill that hole. I can't say I've ever had this trouble with UD, it's not like The Cup came out with hard signed auto's while people are still waiting for SPA redemptions from that same player. I know there can be troubles with athletes but it's a little sickening seeing new products released like that while customers are waiting for old redemptions from the same player.

If the way they do business is fine with you then go on being happy about it, if any other company treated their clients as poorly as Panini has that company would be out of business. As for your QC comment why would there be more QC involved in Dominion than in any other product?? I know in my business I strive to have the same level of QC no matter what the task at hand...

I never said I was happy about it, I'm simply explaining possible reasons as to why the cards were not included live at the packout. Regarding increased QC for Dominion - as noted earlier it's a hand-packed product that costs $350 a box so naturally the folks involved at the packout are giving things that extra little check to make sure that all cards are in great condition when they go into those special wooden boxes. If they didn't we'd get a Panini Quality Control Rant from people who are cheesed that their base parallel #'d /50 has dinged corners in a $350 product.

Patience is important, you're going to give yourself a heart attack over something that doesn't matter in the long term. I have a couple outstanding redemptions as well, they will come when they come. If I see them on eBay, I will call and ask politely about them because that's what you're supposed to do. No sense in pulling out hairs over a trading card that will most likely come eventually.

I called (1-(800) 852-8833) and had very good customer service. They took care of me right away.
I can deal with redemptions and how long they take (my risk) but in this day of computers I shouldn't have to follow up with them.
