I dislike him for being pompous and arrogant. I didn't have too much of an opinion about him until after "the decision". He is an amazing player and will go down as one of the best of all time. BUt that doesn't mean he wasn't an ™™™™™
Also, who didn't want to see a tired underdog team like the Mavericks take down a superteam like the Heat in the finals last year?

Thank you. And if Lebron didn't defer to Wade as much as he does, I believe his scoring would be higher than Durant as well. And if he would get his ™™™ in the post. (Argument can be made that Westbrook takes too many shots) Durant is a better shooter though, no argument there.
Take Lebron off the Heat and they were an 6-8 seed getting bounced in the first round. Now look at Cleveland... Hate him or not, he is the best player in the world at the moment.

What are you basing this opinion off of? I know it isn't stats or wins or playoff runs or MVPs(which Lebron will most likely win over KD)
I'm not trying to be disrespectful or anything, just friendly debate. Please explain how Durant is a better basketball player RIGHT NOW than Lebron?

First, playoff runs are irrelevant when you don't win a championship, and second, MVPs are a popularity contest, that generally never goes to the player who is actually most valuable to his team. It goes to the best player on a top seeded playoff team.
Why should I have to explain my opinion though? Why can't you explain why LeBron is a better Basketball player?
My most simple reason: LeBron is afraid of being the best, don't believe me? Go back and watch the finals from last year.

MVP isn't about having the best season, that's the problem and that's the issue I have with the voters in every sport. It's about the player who is most valuable to his team. LeBron isn't most valuable to his team, it's Chris Paul.
