1. People hate him for no real good reason except its the cool thing to do. he is an amazing ball player.
2. Why does everyone want to be compared to Jordan, yes he was good but there were better players to be compared to.

You couldn't be any more wrong than you are. People have stated time and time again why they don't like him, and *gasp* some of us didn't like him BEFORE he was on the Heat.
To think people hate on him because it's "cool" is just so incredibly untrue.

Its true people just hate players for inexplicable reasons. I can't stand Kobe. No idea why. I admit he is an amazing player, I just wouldn't want him on my team. No massive reason I can't provide stats why I hate him, just do. But find me a player who is in the league that who isn't hated.

Yes, some people hate players for no reason, but the majority that dislike LeBron James dislike him for real reasons. Not just because it's "cool". I didn't like him when he was with the Cavs because he's very cocky, and has a huge ego that he doesn't back up. Then when he did the whole decision thing, the way he went about it made almost everyone dislike him.

I would class hating a professional sports player for being cocky as 'no real reason'. I would also say having a huge ego is fine when you've won 2 MVPs and a almost a shoe-in for a third. People love Jordan for his cockiness and ego. But I know you're just going to come back with 'but Jordan's got rings'. True, but sometimes I think people forget that basketball is a team game. Would Jordan have won a ring on any of the Cavalier's squads James was on? I dunno. Are you also telling me you wouldn't have an ego with 2 or 3 MVP titles, contracts worth millions and SI calling you 'the chosen one'?

Lebron is hated by many due to the fact he wanted to be perceived as "The King"when he hadn't accomplished anything in the league yet.Up to the present time,he still has done zilch, unless you want to call a few MVPs being successful.Even the greatest ball players(I'll use players in the Jordan era)like Jordan himself,Magic,Bird never claimed to be the "greatest".The more you say you're "great"and then do zero to back it up,you will always have negativity surrounding it.
"The decision" was probably the "WORSE" decision LeBron ever made!!! ~~Dave C.

That's not a real reason? LeBron can be cocky when he wins something. When you're cocky and you win nothing, and are the biggest choke in sports, then you have no business being cocky.
When you name yourself "King James" and have a show to trash your former team, that's VERY unlikable.

If winning MVPs is zilch, can you only be perceived as great with championships?

He's won 2 MVPs. That means for two years he was the greatest player in the league. I say walk cocky.
He chocked. Everyone knows it. He's still a great player.

MVP's mean nothing for someone of LeBron James' caliber. What do people say about pro athletes? Do they say "Hey, that's Kobe Bryant, he has 1 MVP!" or do they say "Hey, that's Kobe Bryant, he has 5 rings!"?
