    Thought for sure DL would have worked out 2.5 for Penner....comes alive at playoff time but to in the process of getting to the playoffs, he is no where to be seen....

    Okay but it is for two years. July 1st 2012 starts the 2012-2013 season. July 1st 2013 starts the 2013-2014 season so two years. It isn't 24 million for one year contract, and it isn't a bonus. And I agree, 13 years is just out of hand,

    Word going around that the Habs have re-signed (for the third time!) Francis Bouillon to a one-year deal for $1.5M.


    And Brandon Prust for 4 years, for $10M! (Still waiting for confirmation on this one)
