On behalf of non-ignorant Americans everywhere, I would like to apologize. All of us Americans are not as ignorant, however our school systems are in shambles for a multitude of reasons (funding, being one of them).

But seriously, the government shutdown (or should I say SLIMDOWN) really is effecting nobody. I don't know why everyone is overreacting, a little bit of government shutting down isn't the end of the world.

A recall has not been issued. The USDA’s food safety service along with the CDC are monitoring the outbreak with reduced staffing because of the government shutdown.
