need feedback thoughts:
paid for a card on december 23rd, card was shipped out january 5th, shipping was 3.00 I received the card on January 8th. The card came in a PWE. I sent the seller an email asking how come it took so long to ship the item, however I understood that the holidays were over that time span. I have not gotten a reply from the seller, so I still have not left feedback as if he gave me what I felt was a valid reason I wasn't going to ding him on DSR's. Just curious what other peoples thoughts are on this situation. Just to clarify the card came as promised and overall happy, just wondering what I should do about the shipping/communication aspect of the DSR, I'm over 1600 in feedback score and typically just leave 5/5, this situation has me questioning what I should do.
Thanks

Personally, because of the holidays I would not be concerned about the shipping time.
However, I would be concerned about shipping cost.
To start, I have no problems receiving cards in a PWE if protected. However, for shipping from Canada to Canada, if I receive one card in a PWE, the seller probably just used a "P" stamp and I would expect to pay $2 or less for shipping and handling.
If I pay $3 shipping cost, as you did, I expect a bubble mailer and expect the postage to be higher for the seller ($1.50 incl. HST). So then the shipping and handling would be reasonable.
I would ding the DSR for shipping as being unreasonable as you were charged a lot more than the actual cost for shipping and handling using a PWE.
If you are satisfied with the condition of the card, I think I would leave the communication DSR as 5. Yes, the seller may have ignored you but people do get busy over the holidays.

eBay buyer to avoid at all costs: mariolemieux662013
One of the worst people I've ever dealt with.
Has left seven straight negative feedback against three different sellers.
Enough said.

That buyer has obviously planned to get PH - IP Autos cheap, then turn around claiming that he thought they were UD Certified Autos. I bet he didn't get a cent back, as he would have had to show delivery confirmation on the return of cards if he submitted a claim.
You always run the risk of Negative Feedback when have an IP, or a TTM auto on eBay insight of all the explanation in the World.
If your text shows that the Auto has not been authenticated, then contact eBay and they will remove the Neg.Last edited by centrehice; 01-13-2014 at 12:15 PM.

It did. It clearly said the autograph was personally obtained. I have called eBay. They won't do a thing. After some emails from the buyer (mariolemieux662013),I've come to the conslusion that he is a complete nut job with zero intelligence. I highly recommend blocking this guy to avoid headaches.

Would anyone who is up to date on bad buyers be so kind to PM me a list so that I can update my own?
Thanks a bunch!

There really is something to be said for the manner in which they treat their sellers on some occasions.
Sometimes I have had great experiences with their staff, but for this one festering issue it has been nothing but frustration that has only compounded my desire to not sell there any longer.
Back in November a buyer, and this does bear mentioning, from Quebec purchased a couple items. He received them, and claimed that they were damaged in shipping and left negative feedback--prior to making any communication or effort to amicably resolve the situation. I said that's unfortunate to hear and offered him a full refund or exchange provided that he shipped the items back. During this process with PayPal's dispute mechanism, he purchased other items. Not wanting to give him further opportunity to damage my feedback I refunded him and sent transaction cancellation requests. He refused those and proceeded to leave more negative feedback. The PayPal dispute lapsed as he refused to abide by BOTH the eBay return policy I have (buyer pays for return shipping) and PayPal's stated policy (buyer must return items for refund/exchanged) - fortunately he slipped up during the process and said that if I didn't pay for it he would leave me the negatives. That's feedback extortion.
Ultimately, all negative feedback he left me was removed for that reason. He was blocked and was given a warning by eBay to stop acting with intent to disrupt my account.
This was all cleared up in early December.
Last week, out of the blue, he left me negative feedback again on two items that already had had negative feedback removed. In one of them he called me (in terrible spelling to get around it) an expletive for a person's backside. I promptly called eBay, explained the history, brought up the "intent to disrupt" and requested that the feedback be removed promptly. Should have been a 10 minute thing at most. Nope. Was on the phone for over an hour last Sunday as for some reason their staff couldn't locate the history of my dealings with this person. Ultimately they got it sorted and said that the feedback would be removed in 24-72 hours. I called them again on Thursday because it wasn't removed still. The person I talked to that day was even more useless. On Friday I called a third time to get the feedback removed and this person was better and told me that it would be taken off in the next 24 hours.
Well it's Monday and they're still there.
Absolute joke.

Usually people from Newfoundland are fair, he maybe perpetually hammered, as that is the only possible way a Newfoundlander would ever act like this. He might be on an IV of Screech.

So,
I am blown away at the moment. This card actually returned to me as undelivered. Boggled.

If you got the card back, I would call it a day and have nothing to do with that guy. Seems like a bad ending just waiting to happen.
