This one:

to me this guy clearly stole the picture and placed it over a black background.

I won some Penguins signed pucks and the seller couldnt figure out how to do combine shipping . So rather than call ebay or search online how to do this he relisted the sold pucks to me (luckily i didnt pay yet). I sent him a message about this when doing a search for signed pucks after seeing what i bought was relisted. He tried to renegotiate the price with me after he sold one of the pucks i purchased. He has yet to make any attempt in regards to this and ebay is saying i either need to pay for the pucks he no longer has in his possession or just cancel the transaction. They tried to find me the same puck and said they found one but $20 more. I just wanted to share my frustration and also say its not always buyers either.

Is it Just Me? Simultaneous auction and "for sale" listings
Am I the only one who is put off by the practice of listing a card for auction on eBay and simultaneously listing it for fixed-price sale on other sites?
By creating the auction listing the seller is entering into a contract with eBay, and eventually, the high bidder to sell an item. If they also list the item for sale on other sites, it creates the possibility that the card could be sold on the other site while the auction is still live. In that event, the seller will cancel the auction and the current high bidder is out of luck. Creating multiple fixed price offers is OK, because all potential buyers know first to act gets the card. But when an auction is included in the mix, bidders are at a disadvantage because they may not plan to act until later in the auction.
Some will say, "If you really want the card, buy it outright instead of trying to get it at the lowest bid price." True, but that is the whole point of an auction. Also, some may not be aware the fixed price offer is available on other sites.
Maybe it's because I am more of a buyer than seller, but I feel listing a card for fixed price sale while you have a live auction going is a bit shady. What do others think? I anticipate disagreement from sellers, but let's hear your side.Hidden Content

Not shady at all. The person selling the card is the owner, not the whining buyer.
If you do a BIN and the card is not available, you get your money back and the ability to leave a negative if you so desire. How on Earth is it shady? Paypal guarantees your money back.

I wouldn't run an auction on a card, and try and sell here, at the same time. Too much of a hassle to keep it straight.
I have, and will do it again, put BINs /BO up on eBay, and also listed the same cards here (and other sites) for sale. If I sell in one location, I would immediately take it down in the other.
Like you, I'm primarily a buyer. If you want to run an auction on one site & a BIN on another, doesn't really bother me. I'm not going to overpay for your card..... so maybe you'll get a bid from me, maybe you won't. If your BIN price is fair, maybe I'll just buy? (I'm not much of a haggler).
Sellers ending auctions early, meh. Doesn't bother me in the least.

I do it for a better chance at a sell. Most of the time it sells on ebay but sometimes I have to pull the auction or listing. I will not pull it if it is less than 24 hours left though.
Sometimes a person wants that card for a trade to happen so it has to be done. But Yeah I do sometimes l sell the card on here and ebay.Flickr: Hidden Content
