No. I don't like the attitude that guns are necessary for protection in suburbia. I also don't like that you choose to misunderstand, but that's a matter of ignorance, not attitude per se.

I know they were trying in some states to increase the tax rate on ammo to %50 but has that made it through? I'm doubting it will. Thanks to the NRA of course.

You know that's the exact fear mongering Im talking about, don't you?
You're scared someone is going to come through your door. Terrified. If you weren't, you wouldn't be so afraid of a little control on the situation.
You are afraid.

The only one I am afraid off is God himself. Everyone else I prepare for.

As long as you have a gun. You're afraid to take on anyone armed with only yourself.
Afraid.

Laws that make citizens jump through hoops that are intended to discourage gun ownership. A backlog of applications for permits, a $50 license fee that must be regularly renewed just to own a handgun (failure to renew is a $500 fine and up to 90 days in jail, in effect making gun ownership a criminal offense), fingerprint background checks that take weeks to complete...none of which prevents people with mental disorders from getting guns which is moronic since they are the primary actors in recent shootings that spawned the new stricter laws.

So you think we should have more background checks & mental health screenings for gun buyers? You think it might help curb some of these shootings? Guess what - you are correct! It's a GREAT idea - too bad the NRA killed it earlier this year. The NRA will fight anything that could prevent someone from buying that new gun. It's what they do and they get paid very well to do it. The NRA is the lobbying arm of gun manufacturers. That's it. It's not good. It's not bad. It will strive to get what is best for gun manufacturers and it will stop any effort from anyone who is trying to prevent their customer from buying their product. Please feel free to message me here about my electronic bay & COMC listings

Forget it. Apparently not wanting kids to needlessly die makes you "afraid of guns" but owning a gun because someone might but probably won't come in your house to randomly rape you makes you a big man.
