Christian scholars say fornication mean sex outside of marriage. thankfully, the modern world says gays can get married so what they do in marriage is a-ok with Jesus. and your original post was about the new testiment.. and then you go and pull quotes from the OLD testiment to make your point. intellectually dishonest. Yeah Leviticus also says you can't trim your beard, burn honey as an offering to god, eat fat, touch dead animals, or tear your clothes -- among other things. So, since we ignore 99% of that, I'm going to go ahead and assume we can ignore the warnings about the gay stuff.

yes, you are using extreme stereotypes. Just because other people agree with you that liberals hate Christians, Whites, Cops, Guns, Job Creation, Freedom, Military, Getting Past The Race War etc... doesn't mean that it's correct. I have multiple examples of liberals who don't have the views on Christians, Whites, Cops, Guns, Job Creation, Freedom, Military, Getting Past The Race War that you claim.

Isn't a bigger problem lumping literally millions of people together and telling them exactly what their belief structure is on an economic, political, military, and social platforms/issues?

Both side of the equation have a huge problem here - both profess to be the more knowledgeable and "right" party for the leadership of our country however neither does an even adequate job of discussing things that they are for. Instead they spend time telling us why the other guy/gal is inept to lead - I can't think of another area in life where I am forced to decide which item I like least to then be forced into choosing the other. Moronic.

The media is even worse when it comes to this - Beck, Hannity, Rush, Maher, Olberman, etc have all figured out that they can make boatloads of money not by telling people why their positions are better but why the other side is going to ruin America. It is odd to me that the same people who call the US the greatest country in the world are pretty quick to call out anyone on the other side of the political aisle to brand them as useless, dumb, taker, racist, incompetent, etc. Fear mongering has become a career path to some, and they make it work. Good on 'em I guess but make sure to evaluate what they say and take it all with a grain of salt.

The American political system isn't perfect, but it's pretty good - and American politicians, while human and not perfect, work their butts off to try and make life better for the folks in their districts, cities, counties, states, and nation - sure there are turds in the punchbowl, there always are, but we can be happy that the cosmic powers aligned and landed us in a nation where we are free to disagree on a trading card message board (what???) about politics.

I am not a rocket scientist either - but I do know that lumping people together and then thinking for a second that you can accurately devise what they are for and against is a dangerous game. I choose to have conversations and discussions and, generally, the most interesting are those with people who do not agree with me - and it's not because either one of us is out for world domination or a complete destruction of the American way of life, it's because we have different points of view, experiences, and viewpoints as the best way to move forward. I am scared to death of anyone who tells me they have the answers, those people should be avoided at all costs.

What is moronic is that the Left is doing exactly to the Right that you claim the Right is doing to the Left but you don't see it. The Right doesn't tell anybody what to believe, are you serious? Who tells who what to believe, like anyone can crawl into your head and make you do something, maybe in other countries but not here. The Conservatives are only standing up for what they believe in, just like the Libs but the C's are the bad guys because they actually think that family values and working hard, and not being wussies around the world is actually good for us.

Nobody is telling you what to believe, believe it all day long, we're talking about preserving our culture and finding a good way to live our lives, not letting all the crap influences from overseas dictate how we govern ourselves. We used to govern ourselves pretty damn good ,but not anymore, nobody wants to work for it.
