I only see 11 listings out of 883 that sold 1.50$ or more... I hope that they are all free listings lol, something I didn't mention yet. If he has a store, then that's another monthly fee and unless it's the basic store, it becomes expensive fast.
I mean, even if he got all these cards for absolutely free, I can't see how he's not losing money on each transaction. There's a minimal paypal fee for every transaction, stamp (even if PWE) + Ebay fees or any other shipping material (need to protect the cards somehow) etc
How much is a PWE in the US? 0.01$? I hope so because otherwise I can't see how he's not losing money

Did not scroll down all the way to see all those.23 cent listings (insane). To ship one pwe is .45 stamp cost. Unless he has some type of bulk discount that might help them out.

Another seller you should be careful before buying, especially if you intent to bid on several cards
tohockeycards
Seems like a nice guy but the (crazy) shipping charges were not mentionned in his items descriptions. He sent a message to inform me that he "only ships 2 cards at a time" so 4.50$ USD + 1.00$ USD for the 2nd card (even though Canada to Canada)...
I immediately stopped bidding and intentionally lost auctions on some cards I had the intention to win. I also had to retract 4 other bids I was leading and asked to cancel my order. I was asked to "honour" my engagement for the 4 items I had already won... Ok fine, but that's going to be a negative feedback from me.
I got charged 10.50$ USD in shipping for these 4 cards (13.10$ USD)
2001-02 Upper Deck Legends Timeless Tributes Jerseys #TTDP Denis Potvin BV 12,00 $
2007-08 O-Pee-Chee Silver #598 Nicklas Backstrom BV 15,00 $ (in the title it says Micromotion on top of it, not even the right card)
1988-89 O-Pee-Chee #120 Wayne Gretzky UER/no position on front BV 15,00 $
2006-07 Parkhurst Autographs #35 Kelly Hrudey BV 12,00 $
So unless it comes with tracking (which would be ridiculous for 13$), I am not a happy camper. It's going to come in a single bubble mailer with a 1.94$ CAD stamp. Even 2 bubble mailers would suck. 10.50$ USD is almost 15$ CAD.
Shipping abusers are going to get it with me lol. I will make this a mission.

Hi folks, I am looking for some advise from you all. I put a Quinn Hughes Allure Top 50 Jersey card up and it sold (BIN) almost immediately. I have received an email from the buyer saying my auction was misleading. When I scan cards I am going to put up, I do them in pairs quite frequently. He claims he thought he was buying both as a lot. Nowhere in my description does it mention "lot" It clearly mentions the card only, as well in the description.
Here is a link to it https://www.ebay.ca/itm/153942915649...84.m1561.l2649
Here is a link to a 2 card lot that I have up, https://www.ebay.ca/itm/153942880798...84.m1555.l2649
So this buyer is asking me to cancel the order and refund his money. I am wondering ( as no one has ever confused themselves like this buyer says he did) if I do as he asks, would there be any impact on me from Ebay? Or should I just advise that nowhere did the post imply both cards together and he bought it.
Thanks

My thoughts/advice.
- Have him submit an official cancellation request (saves you final listing fees).
- Stop scanning multiple cards for ebay listings. It may take you more time to scan each card individually, but it'll avoid headaches here.
- I tend to avoid multiple scan posts personally as I just avoid making sure I am looking at the right card/lot. If the post clearly says X Card lot, is the only time I don't mind multiple card scans.
- On Facebook where it's easier to identify different pricing via comments etc is ok and I will do it as well
- Even though you weren't in the wrong, still be polite with this customer so you reduce the potential for negative feedback.
- Block this buyer so you don't have to deal with them in the future.
- If you decide not to cancel, there's decent odds that he opens a return or item not as described which is even more painful to deal with.

I agree with those recommendations. If you want to prolong this, he'll just make your life miserable. Cancel, block, and move on.

Thanks to the both of you. I had planned on blocking him afterwards anyway. I will suggest he put an official cancellation request first. When a buyer does that, does that have bad connotations for the seller ?

There is no need for them to put in a formal cancellation request. Just go ahead and cancel it and select "buyer requested". There is absolutely no ding on your account for that reason. And yes...one card per pic. People don't read descriptions.
Edit:And yes, all sellers fees will be returned. But you will not have your PayPal charges reversed.Last edited by subban7677; 05-22-2020 at 03:39 PM.

Doesn't ebay give you the option to crop your image when you upload? Should be pretty easy to avoid the confusion even if you scan more than one at a time

I do 9 scans with my scanner and crop each one with Paint
Doesn't everyone do this?
lol I would never make just 1 scan at a time. That would be hell.
