Big game tonight vs the Blues... We get Marner back but lose 3 more Players to Covid!! I would hate to see the season get shortened or worse & its not just hockey either, Basketball has had its issues with cancelled games too.. I am already tired of stuff being cancelled,(world Juniors, the Olympics!!).. when will this end?

It only ends, when the people say it ends... if not, we are headed for Aussie Rules.

10 straight games with a Road Goal for Matthews. 1 off the record held by Yzerman & Bure. Hope he ties that record. I think at the end of the year he is the Leader in Goals & wins the Rocket. Was nice to have a comeback win of our own after the 2 blown lead games. The Leafs looked back to normal last night, we didnt look tired in the 3rd period like we did against the Avs & Vegas. Go Leafs Go!!

Its funny that 80% of the people still testing positive for Covid are the Vaccinated!! Say what? I said earlier i have had a few Vaccines over my life span & not once have i got anything that i have been vaccinated for!! Masks dont do anything to help, its just the Govt telling people to jump & all of us saying How High Sir.. When athletes who were perfectly healthy & in great shape are dropping dead on the court after getting the Vaccine something is very wrong here!! & im not talking just a few here i am talking hundreds. Google it & see for yourself. There are Cardiologists coming out & saying that you should not get the Vaccine now but too little too late. Surprisingly we havent had any Hockey casualties but check out Basketball, 17 & 18 year olds having heart attacks & seizures on the court. I seen a few football ones too. Crazy!!!!!!!!

This is the norm when it comes to Covid. Either rules need to become more lenient or people have to learn to do the fark they are supposed to do. I don't want to make this a political debate but this virus only gets transmitted if you are in direct contact with people and if you are not doing things such as wearing your mask and washing your hands and stuff like that. So, clearly people all over major sports do not understand the severity of this situation and until they do teams rosters will continue to be decimated.

Another crazy of a game against the Blues, but a win is a win. Marner was great and hopefully this leads to a stretch of good games for him. Dermott continues to be bad and hopefully they are showcasing him and someone overpays for him. Lillijgren has been much better and has more upside and I am sure there is someone in the AHL that can fill Dermott's shoes.

The Leafs are quite good at drafting D-Men with lots of Hype that end up playing they're careers overseas. They need to make some trades before everyone else knows it too!! Our defence is horrible right now & not even Campbell can make them look good!! If the Leafs dont want to lose again in the 1st round they had best do something about it

Lillijgren has been much better and has more upside and I am sure there is someone in the AHL that can fill Dermott's shoes.

What wearing a mask actually does for the spread of Covid is up for debate but it takes so little effort to get and wear one, so that's why you should do it but that's just me. I don't want to make this a debate about the pandemic but it is unfortunate that so many teams have been effected by the virus and how leagues are going to deal with it moving forward is definitely up in the air.

I've had friends too who know people that got vacc'd and passed away and still got sick, so the best thing any one person can do is follow protocol and do what's best for yourself I guess.

The Leaf's D from a performance stand point is pretty bad, but the team plays a very tight system. I think they are second in goals allowed or something like that, so even despite the lack of success individually, as a unit and team the Leafs are pretty good. The success of this team will be determined by how well Soupy and the top four guys on offence can play and that's all there is to it. Matthews will slow down sometime this season so let's just hope the rest of the o can pick up the slack whenever that happens. Or maybe it won't happen lol.

The only way i see Matthews slowing down is if he gets injured. He just spent the last month without Marner & has 18 goals in his last 16 games? I could be wrong there but its pretty close to that & now he has Marner back. I would love to see him get 50 this year!! I think only Boston & Carolina have allowed less goals this year than we have, i havent looked in a week or so.
I do wear a mask when i leave the house, most stores wont let you in if you dont have one. But, i think this is becoming a joke now!! Guys that are Vaccinated are testing positive now with No symptoms? They feel perfectly fine yet they still test positive. Whats going to happen come Playoff time when someone like Matthews, MacKinnon or Ovechkin tests positive in Game 7 & isnt allowed to play? Luckily for Canada Montreal isnt going to be there, there would be a riot for sure!! But i can also see other teams Fans losing they're minds too!! Its definitely going to cause some issues..

Part of me thinks that there is an over reaction to the entire Covid issue, but I strongly believe that it is better safe than sorry right now. Everyone needs to get the virus under control as best as they can and if that means players can't play in a game than so be it. That is why I am so against what Djokivic is doing and I am glad that Australia did not let him play and I believe they banned him from playing for the next 3 years. That clown tested positive twice and clearly has no concern for anyone but himself and he has had a lot of other reckless behavior in the past as well. Thankfully the NHL does not have anyone like that.

Nothing reported about covid overwhelming hospitals during 4 month's of sell out NCAA Football games... while we are still chasing zero covid.
