Yeah Campbell played very well despite giving up 5 goals. That 2nd Avs goal was flukey, our D-Man just about got the puck before it crossed the line & the 3rd goal they scored all the Leafs on the ice stopped playing because they all thought Nylander was getting a penalty on the play. We may have blown a lead but this is Colorado & i am happy that we got a point out of the deal. When the Leafs play a full 60 minutes we are a tough team to beat!! We were missing Marner too. The Avs were 0-4 on the Power Play, ( we had 1 PP & scored) & we dominated in the Face off circle. Lots of positives to take from that game..

I was curious to where the other Leafs fans are? The avs are loaded up and down the lineup but they also suffer from not having an A goalie. Kuemper is good when healthy but he hasn't had a complete season in years. Keefe has shown an ability to rally the troops after a bad game and even though we got a point, that game was ours for the taking and I expect a big bounce back game against the Knights and then to get the ball rolling against the Coyotes.

Yeah, back to back games vs Knights & Coyotes starting tonight. We need to bounce back against the Knights tonight. They are playing well though but we did beat them already this season, i think 4-0 but i could be wrong.

I think I heard that Eichel makes his season debut tonight so that should be interesting to watch. I've been lucky enough to see some a couple of Sabres games live with really good seats and always felt sorry for him b/c he was so much better than everyone else and was clearly in a spot where if he had more talent around him, he would flourish. Hope he gets that chance in Vegas b/c he really is a top tier talent.

Yeah Eichel is still a few weeks away from playing every day but he will be there soon. Will make Vegas a much better team.
Glad the Leafs won that game last night in OT. That 5 on 3 PP Vegas was given halfway through the 3rd period was BS. When they called the first one i thought it was on Vegas for interference but they called Clifford for tripping lol, he fell on his own trying to stop Clifford from getting the puck, which, is interference. All i see on FB is people talking about how we blew 2 leads in a row lol, we got 3 of 4 points so far & Phoenix tonight. 2 games & people are losing they're minds!! We're something like 20-5 in our last 25 games. People need to chill out!! If we sucked as bad as the Habs then i could see it but its 2 games of many & we got 3 of 4 points.

No offence but you need to grow up lol. I am assuming you are a teenager so that would make sense but most people on this forum just want to talk about sports and cards and don't cherish all this attention that you revel in, Shots fired? lol. But ya, the habit of blowing leads obviously is not a good thing, but at the end of the day getting points and wins is all that matters. How about the Oilers thinking about getting Kane and Holland saying that he deserves a second chance? Uh, try like 10 lmao. I found that pretty funny b/c Holland who has been a good GM over the years, but anyone that gives Kane a shot in the NHL has a bad thing coming. IMHO if he is to get back into the NHL he needs to be clean for an extended period of time, but this game just doesn't get it which is funny b/c wasn't he one of the initial people in the entire racism movement in the NHL?

I think the Leafs could use Kane, at least for this year anyways. I think he would fit in good with Marner & Matthews.
I had a feeling we were going to lose to Phoenix tonight. Halfway through the Colorado game you could see the Leafs were tired & same with the Vegas game. We had been off for 3 weeks before that so they just need time to readjust to playing every day. we got 7 of 10 pts since we came back from our 3 week vacation, no too bad. That loss to Phoenix really hurts though..

Got beat by another hot goalie which seems to be an ongoing trend over the past couple of years. Glad Matthews set the record for most consecutive goals in a road game and can't really judge Mrazek since he faced so few shots. Dermott looked bad as he usually does but Lilijgren continues to not make mistakes and fit in nicely. Time to sit Dermott and make Lilijgren that 6-th 7-th d man!

That goalie stood on his head, Whoever he is.. I really dont know anything about him other than what i saw, Big kid, covers the bottom of the net well. Leafs know who he is now..
