I still ship single cards to Canada for $1.50 and USA for $2.00
But yes, these boards seem slow. Everywhere seems slow. I do not have facebook or any social media so I honestly don't know where to go anymore. Like where is everyone? Not much seems to be happening. And the other sports is almost non existant. Days can go by without anyone saying anything.
It's hard for me to sell anything on here even though I can charge 50% of what it sells for on eBay. But still... I have to use eBay because it's the only place where things move consistently.
I get strange messages sometimes and I Wonder what the heck people are thinking. Someone offered me $1 per cards for all my young guns, jersey and autos. And I'm like.. you seriously expect to buy a Patrick Roy jersey for a dollar, a Thomas Chabot young guns for a dollar, a Jason Spezza young guns for a dollar. Like ™™™?Master List: Hidden Content

USD or CAD? lol :P
In all honesty I don't know if this person just made a quick glance, because most of those young guns in my Master List are between $1 and $2.

Seriously tho. I've noticed this trend since about March. Last year I would have to go to Page 4 to bump up my trader thread every 10 days. Now after 10 days, it's on the bottom of page 2

When I first started trading here, card prices were low and my interest was broad, like any card with a Bruin on it, jersey, auto, retired or current, even D-men. Than the market evolved and shifted, and as value went up, the ease of trading went down, especially when most every one wants the same few expensive rookies, usually YG's and the value of a average players jersey card went down to near nothing.
It happens with a lot of hobbies, when it gets really big, as in expensive, it turns more into a serious business than a fun past time. Trading became a hassle instead of a pleasure.
I recently started thinking about changing my focus to collecting plain old O-Pee-Chee and completing the whole set. That way I could have the fun of trying to complete something, and of opening hobby boxes for $65 and not feeling ripped off if I don't hit something of high value. Plus they still have SP and SSP cards and other fun inserts. Also, I could see doing a set like this making trading fun again.

In the USA, our wonderful Democrats passed a law that reduced the dollar amount you receive before you get a 1099 down from $20,000 to $600. I used to sell but now not worth it as I don't want to pay the government any more money than I already pay. There are certain rules on how this works but simply not worth it for me.

Yes, between EBay and there fees and the crazy shipping rates people charge and now the $600 rule, it has taken the fun out of selling!
BakeLooking for Aaron Judge cards, current Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs!
