The whole contract thing is better for the pistons. the nuggets are stuck with billups for i THINK 4 more years? w/e, anyway, pistons have A.I. on one year, so if he's not helping the team within a year, they have $20mil to shop with. just my opinion though :)

Has a superstar ever been traded less a week after the season started? I thought, if Denver was out of the playoff hunt, that Iverson would be traded, but not this early! Wow!

McDyess doesn't have interest in leaving Detroit. Looks like Detroit or retirement. If he goes back to Detroit, this trade was essentially Iverson for Billups. Detroit has a better chance to win with Iverson, imo. If they don't, they will free up cap room to go after free agents (or Lebron).

Yep. I mean, let's be realistic here. LeBron probably hates Detroit more than any other NBA team, just because of the rivalry factor.
