Imo, this rule is stupid and I understand the thinking and why it was originally made but it leaves the guy w/ under 20 trades at the mercy of getting taken advantage of. I followed that rule for my first 3 of 4 trades and ya know what on one i recieved a damaged card and on another it took a month to arrive. This was totally unacceptable to me and I refused to ship 1st anymore regardless of the rule, and if the other party does'nt want to trade because of it that is cool no loss to me as far as I am concerned.
The way I see it is I got hundreds of transactions on ebay and never had a bad feedback. If that is not showing that I am a man of my word when dealing w/ cash transactions then there is no need to trade with me...

I do agree with you. I spend alot of money on this board and also deal alot of highend cards. At one time i had like 12 cards out and nothing on the way to me.I also have 100% feedback on ebay. I understand the rule, but 20 is really high. It would be easier to get 20 jersey cards and give them out to random people and have 20 deals done like that.lol

lol, and to add on, if you're a MSF because of a minor infraction (but still completed the trade) the stipulation should only last until you successfully complete X amount of trades.

Maybe a amendment should be made.

OK I want everyone to listen.

The rules of this site are clear. You break them or try to go around them you will get an infraction. You came to this site and agreed to follow the rules, no one made you sign up. This site is privately owned basically his site his rules. You may not like them but EVERYONE will follow them.

Every rule on this site has been taken into consideration by the staff. EVERYONE of them. They all have stories behind them as to why they are needed. For those of you thinking any of these rules are unfair or unjust may I suggest you all stop by our next round table discussion and voice your opinions.

But by stating on the boards here you will NOT abide by the site rules you are in effect nullifying the same agreement that allowed you to become a member here.

My take, the MSF rule is great, everyone had to do it, even the owner of the site had to send first, its just how it goes, EVERYONE has to do it, unless they have transfered feedback from another site...

There have been numberous times people under 20 feedback didnt send to me, and because i followed the rule, i wasnt out anything, my time was just wasted, but i still had my cards..for those who refuse and think the MSF rule is bad, your telling me i should feel safe if you dont have any feedback and i have 949 on this site? if that was the opposite situation, i think you guys would feel differently..

like George said, if you have a problem, come to the round table discussion whenever the next one is, theres no staff members allowed to be in there and your username is kept private

The only way you wouldnt abide by it is if it was mutually agreed by both parties and at that point what part of the rule would be broken since both parties agreed on it lol. I am sorry that you feel miffed about it but I rather not trade if thats the case and that is the point I was making.
Gladdy that is not what I am saying at all, if feedback from other site trades can be looked at here then why not your feedback from ebay. Lets not forget the fact that I got shafted or had to wait forever for what I was recieving from a member who had over 20 trades on here. I sent my stuff out the very next day and packed it really well so that damage was unlikely.
I am just too smart to get shafted again and thats it, to be honest I dont really care about trading but it was a good way to help complete sets; personally I rather do it in person but if it is going to occur through the mail, then either I won't trade or I will not send 1st and thats it. By stating it is not breaking any rule either, it is called an opinion...

Because of the fact that you can manipulate people into giving you good feedback regardless of how well or how bad the transaction went. Also, if a person wanted eBay feedback transferred and they had 1000 positive feedback, which was all from buying, that really doesn't show that they know how to package cards, work out a deal and be respectful on an open board. All it shows is that they know how to type in a number and send money electronically. Also, eBay isn't a site focused mainly on trading, which SCF and the sites that feedback transfer is allowed from are.

Yeah right, manipulation bro I got better things to do than play games. Well until this site gets up to speed w/ these draconian rules, I won't be trading much unless it is done locally. Btw, last time I checked it is not rocket science to figure out how to pack baseball cards lmao...
