Your opinion is the rules are stupid...when you say
I won't trade or I will not send 1st and thats it
then you are making a statement of fact, which contradicts the rules of this board.
Just so we are clear, should you talk a over 20 trader into sending same time and something happens then that mistake is on them.

its all about building a reputation here. I made 56 trades on another site before i started only using this site. I came here with only 4 feedback. I sent 1st on all my trades until 20 without complaints. seriously why does it matter? you're getting your cards in the end arent you?
And honestly, if you don't like the rules of the site, go to youtube or beckett. Have fun with the no rules there and getting ripped off. the trading rules protect the traders here.

well some people don't know how. They can still accidentally get damaged in the mail. I had a package the other come torn in half but it wasn't the senders fault. The cards we're well packaged.
And good luck trying to get your feedback to 20. It's not that hard, your just stingy and dont want to follow the rules.

That is the only rule that I have a problem with so I don't know where you are getting that, for the record ('s) means plural lol. Let me clarify your statement cnshockey, this "rule" (notice no 's so it is singular) protects only one party of the trade and the other party is left to suffer. You really need to read the whole thread dude because it is obvious that you don't understand why I feel this way. This site will not protect me from getting taken for a "sucker" which may mean "paying my dues" here so I will have to protect myself. As for youtube & beckett lol, I only go to youtube to checkout prior box breaks to see a product too smart to make any purchases there and never bothered w/ the beckett site and don't plan to either cuz they got a bad rep from alot of ppl I spoke to.
Jerseyray I understand mishaps happen but when 2 out of the first 4 trades here winds up either damaged or arrives a month late what does that tell you that is 50% by my math. Lets be fair and clear I went by the rule here at that time and that is what it got me so is it really my fault the way I feel about it. Bottomline if I was treated fairly I would be trading like crazy in here and playing by the "msf rule". Btw, that damaged card was'nt damaged in the mail you see the envelope was'nt damaged and the card was in a top loader w/ cardboard but the card was bent so badly that the foil on the card was broken all the way though. the dude who sent it really made sure that the pic scan was poor enough so that the damage couldnt be seen and made no indication of the poor condition either and in exchange he got mint condition card's (and yes that was plural) from me. That said I am the stingy person here lol, hey if thats the way you see it whatever, but my disposition on this matter was formed by the way I was dealt w/ in those trades, if I am stingy, then what does that make the guys who had numerous trades who were a month late or sending damaged cards. I guess they were just teaching me "the tricks of the trade" lmao..

Le tme get this straight since I help run the board. You got damaged cards and did not even put the trade into dispute? Did you give negative or neutral feedback? Did you allow the staff here to help you?
If the answers to those questions was all NO, then you have only yourself to blame for the outcome of the trades. Staff don't know about problems unless the members tell us they are having a problem. Lastly if you have a problem feel free to contact me!
Also I don't believe theres any room for name calling....hope everyone gets my drift.

Bondsaway I mentioned it in my feedback, but did'nt file a dispute but I was brand new here and I guess I did'nt know any better. I agree totally w/ you on the namecalling bro, it is rude and offensive, even someone like me w/ only 10 trades know how to properly conduct myself on this board when speaking directly to another person.
This particular rule needs to be amended, imo 20 is just too much in the current time frame that we live in. I think I have made my position clear already so I won't comment any further on this if people understand my position or not that's fine, and if they agree or disagree same thing, I really don't care, I am done w/ this topic...

If a member is under 20 feedback trades with a member with a MUST SEND FIRST tag, the member with the tag must ALWAYS send first.

see i disagree...its wrong to let these newbs have to make me send first even tho they have NO rep....ive had 6 bad trades b/c of my stupid tag...ive been waiting to vent about this because i think that SCF needs to rethink this...look at my feedback since ive been let back on...PERFECT over 100+ trades and i still get SCREWED!!!!! IMO thats wrong...so i had ONE, UNO, 1, misunderstood trade and my rep is ruined...ive had countless people tell me im a great trader and that it needs to be removed, but NOOOOOO SCF thinks im a bad boy still and i will still get screwed out of trades...I lost over $200 worth of cards in 1 month b/c of that MSF tag that i have...its wrong and if theres one thing that i dislike about this site its that i can never get that removed...its wrong IMO and i know that MANY of you agree with this so dont act like you dont...i have TONS of people that say that my tag needs to be removed...and i know im bashing on my favorite site ever but i jut need to because the person that gave me the bad rep doesnt hardly get one anymore...now if i get repremanded that fine ill take it, but i just had to vent and voice my opinon...
i do think this is the greatest card trading site, but with the MSF rule for those of use like GilbertAreanas and others like use with PERFECT feedback since, and im my case OVER 100+ positive trades (some saying remove the tag in the feedback)...i think we need to reconsider that rule...so ive learned my lesson now...ive been screwed over $200 worth of cards...]
THE END

For some people it is... There have been tons of stories of people doing their first few trades and making stupid mistakes, like sending GU cards with no toploader in a PWE. I guess it may be easy for most of us, but for some people who are new, they just don't get it. This is another reason why the rule is in place.

OK I'm locking this down.........
Heres the last word on this.
ANY member carrying a MSF tag got it for a good reason (I hope). Some have them because otherwise we would ban the acct and this is only recourse to staying here.
Now anyone that has the tag and feels it was done without good reason may contact me. Don't waste my time though if you know you got it for good reason as I will find out ALL the reasons why you got it.
Lastly Our rules are posted........If you don't want to follow them fine. But do not openly refuse them (this is not allowed). If you are reported to staff trying to go around them you will get an infraction. Best way to get to 20 trades....simple trade with the staff and members with high feedback. Rarely has anyone ever had problem deals with them.
Follow the rules and the staff will help you on any problems you may encounter.
Thanks George
