I'm glad this is official - no more "maybe this, maybe that"...just glad he has decided upon something. Lakers are lucky to have retained one of the 2 players that were FAs...they had to retain at least one of them.

The only safe time to say anything like this is in the final minutes of the final game in an NBA finals game, in which the Lakers have already won 3 games...other than that, absolutely nothing is even remotely close to guaranteed.
