I dont want abortions period. I think every child should have a chance at living life and having a chance succeeding in life.

If you have a child and you dont want it, please put it up for adoption and let a couple who cant have a kid raise it and love it. Also, give it a chance to live, and to love, and to succeed.

I have no problem with that as long as the adoptees are willing to pay the bill for the labor. Chances are if you cant afford to have a baby you probably dont have insurance and definitely cannot pay a bill for child labor, stay, medication, food etc. at the hopital.

Well i dont agree with the adoptee to pay for the labor. Its the man and woman that had sex that made the baby. Now, if they dont want they baby let someone adopt it so it can have a good home, and live a good life, and dont just abort it. So a happy couple shoud pay for a persons pregnancy just because she didnt want a child? what is this child worth? Remember we were all once a baby, and also an embryo.

Hey, If you dont want your kid I'll give you 700 bucks for him/her. If not, just abort him/her. I'd love to raise him/her and give them a chance at life. It'd be better than just aborting them.

No. As a libertarian, I'm against just about every form of government aid.

Furthermore, I think that just about anyone in today's society can rummage up the $300 to $500 it costs for an early abortion, which I approve of, by selling off luxuries. These include TVs, cell phones, cable, laptops, jewelry, etc. You cannot possibly expect me to pay for your abortion when you're going to go home that night and watch cable on your HDTV while you text the guy that knocked you up.

I'm going to totally venture a guess that the above criteria would eliminate 95% of women seeking an abortion. Only pregnant homeless women are left. I don't doubt that they exist, but how many of them do you think there are?

Now, of course, we may just disagree. You may think it's fine for a person to get a free abortion for their personal mistake, whilst driving a car that could pay for sixteen abortions.

If people have the luxary items then they probably have the money to pay. The poor in your area must be pretty well off b/c I don't see the poor in my area rolling w/ the luxary goods.lol

I feel what your saying but sometimes accidents happen. Teenagers are far from mature and sometimes even intelligent. Although it is not our responsibility I have no problem paying for someones abortion or healthcare etc, It is only Money. My mother gave birth to me when whe was 16 and at times in my life I would have rather never been born and even felt like a mistake. I dont thin that a child should go throuth this period. Luckily i survived but dont think anyone else should go through what I went through even if it means abortion. Ive been homeless, abandonded etc before I turned 11. Kids in these kind of environments often come to the conclusion that they "Did not ask to be borm" and wished they weren't brn period. I eventually found my niche in society but not every one is built as strong

Great post. I think you did a great job explaining the childs point of view by sharing your story. IMO the harshness of life that you faced is more the rule than the exception for individuals born to young mothers or families not ready for children. And I agree, not everyone is as strong.

Well if you had the strength to overcome adversity, why wouldnt anyone else? You were able to overcome, so why wouldnt you want everyone else to have that chance. Instead you wish you werent even here? Doesnt seem like it. Why not give aborted babies the chance to overcome like you did?

So the sperm that wouldve been you wouldve stuck around and made you what your little sister is now? If that is so, you wouldnt have your little sister. She wouldnt be here. Imagine that.

This gets too philosophical to debate. If I wasn't born, perhaps I'd be a tree. Or a raccoon. Or my little sister. That's what I meant.

Hey, here's a "poor" guy taking a picture of Michelle Obama...at a soup kitchen...because he is poor...

I assure you that most "poor" people have cell phones. In other words, we have an extremely skewed viewed of what it means to be destitute in this country.
