Youre right. That is kinda unfair. Pittsburgh again????????!!!!!!!!!! Theres like more than 20 other teams that have never played in the Winter Classic, and Pittsburgh playing in it for a 2nd time
????!!!!I hope Vancouvers in it next year.

Good luck - if it's anything like the frenzy to get tix for the original Heritage Classic, there will be some serious competition.

I agree that it would be nice to see some other teams, but selfishly I AM STOKED AND WILL BE AT THE GAME!!! Pens vs. Caps never disappointing.

Thanks. You know how much tickets will cost? since the stadium is owned by my school, I'm hoping there might be some sort of student discount but im not counting on it

first just start off by excluding the teams that wouldn't be able to host it because there would be no means to have the right outside conditions: San Jose, Anaheim, Dallas, Phoenix, Atlanta, Carolina, Florida, Tampa, Nashville, St. Louis
Thats 1/3 of the league right there eliminated from hosting. Might be a few more that I forgot. Then from the remaining ones you need the hockey team to have an opened up arena that can hold up to at least twice the attendance that the regular arena would, lets say 35,000-40,000 minimum and is in the vicinity of the city. Realistically the league might only have about 8-10 teams to consider hosting.
From there they then have to decide which teams would be the biggest ratings grabbers and matchups
