At the end of the day, it's not Pens v Caps. It's more like Crosby v Ovechkin.

Exactly. As always. Really getting stupid that everything is Crosby vs. Ovechkin, it's never anything about the teams anymore

Never.
I respect the pair of them, but it's getting a little tiring now.
Would have liked to have seen a game between Leafs / Sens / Habs. (Any two of those).

Yea, the Canada game being Montreal and Tornoto.. that would be awesome. Has anyone notice the last two winter classics, the same two teams met in the conference finals, and every year, one of the teams go to the SCF.

I'm a Pens fan and I'm even tired of it.

Like I said before I'm going and I'm psyched about that...
but yes - the whole Crosby thing and Crosby vs. Ovechkin, that whole played out thing is... it's tired. The on ice match up can be very good but the circus that precedes the game is a joke.
I get tired of hearing the derogatory names for Crosby, so I quit defending him. I know he's a great player. Period. He has proven it. I also understand why the league sells him like they do. It was the same thing with Gretzky, and with Lemeiux perhaps you don't remember. The people that don't know hockey, the casual fan, they know those 2, and probably all four players I mentioned.Last edited by rainman67ko; 05-29-2010 at 11:23 AM.

If the team wasn't struggling so bad; I'd like to see them host one in Minnesota. Not only is the place legendary for it's cold (look at the old Vikings) but it's the Hockey State. Not entirely sure of who they could go against; but I'm sure something good could be arranged.
Just no more Pittsburgh. PLEASE. Let this be the last Penguins WC for at least five years.

Minnesota vs. Colorado, division rivals, can do it in either city, I've been saying it for 2 years now

Colorado is a good choice. I was thinking Dallas as well, since there's a bit of history there. Not sure if the Stars would be a big draw though.

Stars vs. Wild in Minnesota or Texas. What, you say? The new Cowboy's Stadium would work. Seriously, Jerry Jones would do anything (including make his new home an ice rink) for more revenue. I'm telling you, it could work. Just sayin'.
