    The cup

This irritates me. The cup has the most valuable rcs in hockey but i feel the most valuable shouldn't be.
    Lets take a look
    2007-08
    carey price $1000+
    2008-09
Stamkos but he is very good

    2009-10
    Tavares $1500

why is carey price and tavares rcs so darn high? Price is poor while tavares only had 24 goals last season. I would put either toews or kane ahead of price and have to put niemi or tyler myers ahead of taveras.

First thing I noticed was the following of the players you listed.
Both Carey Price and John Tavares are Canadian. (maybe Stamkos is too)
Carey Price plays for The Canadians.

Niemi or Myers ahead of Tavares? Not likely.

You mean the "average" rookie that had a better rookie season than Stamkos (who you just praised) on a much less talented team?

Defenseman are hobby deathbeds and a goalie that's already changed teams has lost a lot of potential buyers of his RC so no, neither are (or would be even if /99) close.

Agreed... It's just all about the interests and the buys with what they are willing to spend.. Just more people want to spend the money(not even sure they have the money) on Players like Tavares, Price, Stamkos cause there is always interested buyers out there for those guys.... just the way it works i guess ... But I do Agree that Myers is better than Tavares.
