    So do I. They're a clear 3rd best in the Central.

    May I ask what stands out for Chicago that differs from Detroit besides Chicago's offense? What stands out for Minnesota?

    Chicago = better hitting

    Minnesota = better all around team

    Look at the Tigers lineup....who's actually scared of that?

    Outside of Miggy and Victor (who's getting past his prime anyways) everyone else sucks. Jackson/Santiago/Raburn/Kelly/Wells/Boesch/Peralta/Avila/Inge? Those guys stink.

    I said besides better hitting on Chicago..why is Minnesota all around better? Is there pitching better? better hitting than Detroit sure, but thats the only reason they're better?

    Ordonez/Miggy/VMart is a very good 3-4-5 when they all play, not even you could deny it..

    Jackson stinks? your standards must be ridiculously high if you think he is a bad offensive or defensive player.

    Wells, Santiago, Kelly are all bench/utility players

    As for the rest of the list..I can't really disagree with you, but i think your making them seem like they're AAA players. Peralta is alright at the plate, but his defense is awful, Inge hits for some power, and is a good defender, but strikes out to much and doesnt usually hit for average..but the verdict is still out on Boesch, he's played pretty well this year, and he was amazing for the first half of last year, then awful the 2nd half...

    And you know my opinion of Raburn..

    However, Like I said, Chicago and Minnesota both have better offenses (Chicago's is clearly best in the Central) but Minnesota's pitching is gonna cost them this year in my opinion. Chicago's pitching is way overblown, for as much crap you give about Detroit's pitching i've yet to hear your opinion on Chicago's pitching. Chicago & Detroit are gonna duke it out, they seem incredibly similar overall to me

    ***waits for you to only base your opinion off of 11 games***

    I don't understand why you think Detroit's pitching is any better? Chicago at least has Danks and Buehrle, who are both better than anyone not named Verlander on the Tigers staff. If Peavy can get healthy and pitch decent, they already have a WAY better rotation than Detroit.

    Penny is awful. Porcello is awful. Scherzer hasn't proven he can win consistently yet. And Phil Coke is a reliever turned starter....not too impressed by that rotation.

    Guess you missed Scherzer's last 23 starts (which is essentially most of his season)

    ERA under 2.50 in that stretch, thats why I think he's so good, he's proven over a large enough stretch he can compete. and i wouldnt say any of the 3 teams bullpens are better than the other, its to early, but none of them stand out to me over the other (overall) Minnesota's bullpen from 2010 is competely different from 2011 (and not for the better I think) with many of them leaving in free agency. Chicago's pen doesn't impress me, and the Tigers middle relief has been brutal.

    And actually Phil Coke is a starter turned reliever, turned back to a starter

    I expect/hope Porcello turns it around. Penny just has to be solid enough for what you'd expect out of your #4-#5 guy..Its a positive sign to see him do well against Texas though. I'm hoping they do well enough that Dambrowski/Leyland don't call up Jacob Turner though..
