is everyone who belongs to this group all so arogant and a so rude as most who have replied everyone is quick to critisize yet no merrit to what they say the people who have emailed me and asked pertinet questions have recived the responses they needed as well as the proof they have asked for you judge new members but by the looks of your experience and ratings you best to think rationally before jumping to unmerrited conclusions

I can answer that one. Some people from this sight submitted threads to other forums about this sight and its nice small group of people were conducting great trades. So now they flock, and a lot of them are people who sell on ebay. Have you all noticed the huge fluctuaion of people selling, and not buying or trading?
I tell you what jagrman. You get the card graded and prove us all wrong for being so suspicious. On ebay you do not have to hear peoples opinion on cards you sell. All you do is post a sale page and watch people bid unless they email you a question. Here is alomost one step below a chat room where people can get a little better aquanted with who they choose to deal with and get to know and trust.
So please. let us know what you think of the card you possess. Are you 110% sure it is real? If you are then there should be no reason why you should not get it graded and make a hell of a lot more money off of it and buy yourself a brand new house. Just food for thought. IF you have even a slight doubt that it could be a fake then some investigation work should be conducted.

thank you for your suggestion i have contacted beckett as well as ksa grading and one of them will be grading my card in the next week more than likely it will be ksa since i am in canada as well i have also talked to

Good for you. Please do not allow everyones opinions to get to you. They are not saying it is not real or not. They are all just trying to find an explination. Noone in the World would want to buy a very high valued card and later find out it is a fake. That would be to upsetting to anyone. See it from their point of view. Here you are new to this forum. You have an almost pricless card to have in any mans collection. And the weird rush of people has all the sudden joined this forum with high dollar cards asking to sell only and not trade. We are just trying to get a feel for who we can trust or not. The World is filled with con artist and people who live to rip off other people.
I have only been apart of this forum for 4 months, but I know what they are feeling is the same that I am. Confused to the point on what to and what notto believe. Forums like this is changing card sales and trades because now you can acutall interact with one another which is what EBAY or Amazon can never accomplish or calm.
SO please feel free to make as many trades or sales or buys as you would like, but a suggestion is to start off with something smaller. That way you can get a feel on how this forum works and people can get a feel on how you work. Once you and the people around you that are conducting trades then busting out with the big guns. Showing them off right off the bat can be entimidating and does have a tendency to frighten trades away

jagr- I wouldn't go as far as to say that people here are being arrogant; they are merely in shock that one has in their posession the most coveted baseball card ever. My advise to you is this: get that sucker graded, sell it on ebay (because no one on here will put up the couple hundred grand for it), and prove everyone wrong. From the scan, the card looks legitimate, but I haven't seen very many Wagners. Thanks for sharing this find with the rest of us, but I just don't think SCF is the proper web site for a deal of that magnitude. Good luck with that great card.

ok you guys, you evidently don't know how stupid this is.

A) JonoBono is wrong, there is only 1 known Wagner in existance.

B) It sold to Wayne Gretzky for $440,000 (and Beckett in their genious lists it as $400,000)

This is basic card collecting knowledge.

I thought the one sold to Gretzky was one of the nicest recorded conditions. Then he supposedly sold it for some tax purposes and the prices have been high ever since. If there were only one in existance, why would beckett even price it? Wouldn't they leave it out due to a lack of market?

jag- get it graded at psa/dna those guys are the real deal, thats if you wanna get more bang for your buck. AND PEOPLE ,PEOPLE come on lets be a little more nice to the newbes , just cuz this guy has the most valued card in the world,and he brings it to a small site were he can pretty much con some one out of there house,car,family and get away with it dosent mean we can't trust him.....right? ....yeah... right.
and by the way beckett dose what ever the hell it wants and no one can say anything about it ... beckett is the big boss. they just look at you and say"so what are you ganna do about it" or in the word of Teresa Hines Kerry "shove it!"

My point is, if he were here to con us, wouldn't he bring a card that wouldn't attract as much attention? And, for the record, I just double checked and found that there are around 50 known Wagners; not 1. Some believe there are as few as 8 and some believe that there are as many as 200. And lastly, just because the guy doesn't have a registered domain name or the best grammar doesn't mean he can't own this card.
