Ebay rant
Have any of you ever noticed how sellers will sometimes put "1/1" on every one of their items just so more people look at it? I find this to be kinda aggravating.
I also cant stand it when sellers automatically give the card a NrMT-MT grading on EVERYTHING and then I get the card and it looks like my neighbors dog got to it first. This has happened a lot to me recently. Luckily the sellers were cool about it and gave me a partial refund.
Also I have often been perplexed by sellers who add "no auto" to their item description. Now, one would think that if the item title did not have "auto" in it, that it was not an auto. I just think its weird that they do this. It's like selling a Mustang and saying its not a corvette. DUH. Maybe they just do it so that when people type "auto" in the search, their cards come up.
I also dont understand how anyone could sell cards on ebay without a paypal account. I guess I can understand if it is a kid selling (since u need a credit card to verify the paypal acct) but there are grown men who sell on there without paypal accounts as well just because they dont want to pay the extra $.50 transaction fees. I dunno, I have always found that cards sell for higher prices if the seller accepts paypal because you have cut the transaction time in half. You have instant payment rather than waiting for a week to get a check or money order. I dunno, different strokes for different folks I guess.
Also, to whomever posted earlier about sellers hiking shipping fees, could you please direct me to where I can get 100 bubble mailers for $5 because right now I am paying about $6 for 10. Thanks!

i agree with almost everything you said except the paypal idea. I know of at least 2 sellers that dont deal with paypal because they sell a lot of commons and make no money after the fees. They have paypal and list it as an option on higher dollar items but if you sell a card for 30 cents plus 1.00 shipping.. as many people in the other post seem to think should be about right, you make 1.30, minus 30 cents listing fee, minus ~5 cents final alue fee, minus a dollar to ship, you just lost 5 cents. Now add paypal's 30 cents and you lost 35 cents.. not a good way to make money on ebay

Shipping-Supplies-CHEAP (parrothead88) is by far the best deal for shipping supplies on Ebay. That's where I go to get my bubblemailers.

To go along with the 1/1 thing, how about all the a--holes that list PSA BGS and everything else in their title when they are selling a BCCG piece of crap.
