    Nice to see the Tigers held on to win 7-5,does Valverde always make you guys sweat it out.

    Yep, needed a win today, bullpen was huge today not allowing a run. Home run flexing today, 2 run bomb from Ordonez and Miggy as well as solo shots from Wells/Kelly.

    First off day tommorow in 3 weeks them a homestand vs Arizona, make up game vs Toronto, then the Mets and Giants.

    Incredible display of pitching tonight again by Justin Verlander! His 10th win of the season after a career high of 14 strikeouts and 8 scoreless innings for a 6-0 win!

    Alex Avila 3-4 with a double, homer and 4 RBIs as well!

    Was awesome to watch, as are most of his starts. Avila deserves to be an all-star, as well.

    HUGE 2 out rally in the 8th today to go from down 2-1 to take a 8-2 lead and when 8-3! Kelly with a big hit in a pinch hitting role and then Wells/Ordonez taking a walk and Miggy with a huge 2 RBI hit followed by VMart and Peralta chipping in as well!

    Tommorow is a makeup game vs Toronto. Stewart vs Scherzer

    Another rally in the 8th inning breaks a 2-2 tie and another Tigers victory! Scherzer pitched well, and Benoit pitched a scoreless inning, got the win and Valverde closed the door to go 18/18 on saves for the year.

    Yep, but I feel confident in the pitching matchups, and the fact the offense is on fire.

    Plus having a Verlander start in this series is always a good thing.

    Having Verlander start in any series is a good thing,right now he's the closest thing to a sure victory every time he takes the mound.
