14-3 lead in the bottom of the 8th, i'd just call this a win right now, and would make it 10 straight

Yes, but not as much as in May/June. The last month or so for whatever reason he's been actually playing the starters almost everyday, and imagine that, they've been winning a bunch of games.

Just goes to show you they all dont need 2 days off a week to "rest"

It's amazing what a set lineup can do,it brings continuity.Do you think the Rays can overtake the Red Sox for the wildcard,The Yankees actually have the Red Sox fate in their hands as they play Tampa bay 7 more times.

Sure do think the Rays can, and i'd rather them not get in. Boston's pitching is in a horrible state right now. Beckett is hurt, Buchholz hurt, Lackey/Miller/Wakefield all are terrible. Rays however if they get in can have Price/Shields/Hellickson dominate potentially in a series

Yep I wouldn't want to face the Rays in the first round, their pitching is pretty scary. The Yankees are leading King Felix 4-1 in the top of the 4th yay.

6-1 now after a dickerson 2 run homer,no ground to be gained tonight, but you will gain on them when they play Tampa Bay,it's just a matter of how much.

at least you're consistent. once again, you never let the facts get in the way of your point of view. the facts are that the lineup has changed every day, except for one, during the streak.

boesch would be playing some for young if he was not hurt.

it is too bad that the "official detroit tigers thread" was started by someone who has no idea of what they are talking about. for those of you that follow and post in this thread let not your heart be deterred there are who know baseball here.

Thanks for your opinion, I don't care what you think of mine though.......You clearly don't read and/or understand what I've said the entire season, nor do I care to explain myself, so carry on with the insults.
