When you're discussing greatness of players and who may or may not be the best, rings are important after stats. Kobe has put up incredible stats for years and has the rings to back that up. LeBron has put up great stats, but has nothing to show for it.

I will point out that at no point have I ever said Lebron is the greatest ever. I do believe I said he might go on to be the best ever. I did say he was the best over most the past decade and stats have proven that. Unlike Kobe et. all, he still has another decade or so in his career to earn rings.

I just did a little bit of research...how about the 02/03 Nets? Aside from Kidd, they had Richard Jefferson and Kenyon Martin and a bunch of other scrubs. That's not a great team. Or the 00/01 76ers? They had Aaron McKie, Jumaine Jones, and Tyrone Hill in the starting five.

I have mentioned the 76ers as being the only other team with crap talent. It was all Iverson (Mutombo) just as the Cavs were all Lebron
Kidd Jefferson and Martin are 3 high rate all-stars.
I actually think the 70 Rockets might be the worst of them all...
edit:
Just looked it up.. Kenyon only had 1 and R-Jeff had 0 all-stars. Thats a surprise to me.Last edited by Kutzy; 05-03-2012 at 09:32 PM.

All three of them being "high rate All-Stars"? Come on now...Martin made one All-Star team and Jefferson never made one.

Well...you were comparing Kobe with Lebron. Why are you bringing all these other players in??? Overall stats favor kobe.......right now...will that change?....who knows....
People hated LeBron as a player because he hailed himself as the almighty. As years passed,he fed the fire with dissing the Cavs and their fans."The Decision"was the last straw on the camels back.Plain and simple,he's all about "HIMSELF".He's just not a likeable guy,on and off the court. He has made himself what he is today.I can honestly say....for quite some time,I've cheered for every team but the team LeBron has been on.So the odds are in my favor, and so is history!!!!!
