I've been successful by finding an auction won by the buyer, and looking at the seller's feedback. It can be a bit of an easter egg hunt, though.

I'm going to slap the next person that describes a card of theirs as an eBay 1 of 1. It's the stupidest thing to say. Any card that is numbered is one of a kind. My card is numbered 16 of 30 and it's the only one that is numbered 16. I'm going to rip a card in half, pee on it, and call it an eBay 1of1. It will be the only one like it I can assure of that!

HAHAHAHA...That's so true Man...I always think the same thing all the time....like what is an eBay 1/1...Every card I have listed on eBay is a 1/1 cause no other card like it is ever gunna be listed on eBay again not unless by some mistake they were accidentally stamped with the same serial number..lol

LOL hangtime you're my new best friend!
1 of 30, 30 of 30 okay... I kinda get it. Not like the guy signs it any better because it is first or last in his singing session. But.. I asked a guy why his was a 1/1 and he said it was because it was the only one listed on ebay
OMG I got sooo many Pacific 1/1s! :P
I just move past those poeple but I so badly wanna yell at them. Just like USA sellers using Pitney Bowes so WE dont get charged customs. C'mon... I've been charged customs on less that 1% of my qaulifying purchases internationally. One of those 3 times was because it was booked at $50 although I bought it for $6 and I was charged $13 customs lol.Master List: Hidden Content

Haha did you edit your listing/post? I feel like i read your showcase break and that was what sparked my rant even though you said it a tone that made it seem like you were ashamed of yourself lol.

Speaking of those ebay 1/1s, I came across someone at the Expo on Sunday who had a Grant Fuhr auto and on the price tag they wrote 1/1 because it was numbered to his jersey. Apparently it is spreading outside of ebay too
. The guy thought I was interested in it and was quick to try selling me on the fact that it is numbered to Fuhr's jersey (31/50) and is therefore a 1/1. I was quick to crush his hopes and tell him that I couldn't care less what the serial number is and that it is still /50 and not a 1/1.

thoughts/opinions wanted/needed, had a card posted on ebay, someone hit the buy it now (which in theory is great) however this is a brand new ebayer and his username is pimpdaddy480, just seems a little sketchy to me, what can I do to protect myself (buyer in the US) I'm in Canada to avoid a chargeback at somepoint (100 dollar card we are talking about) Any suggestion, can I just cancel the transaction if I wanted to ?
Thanks

Send it tracked and insured for $100. If they claim they didn't get it Canada Post will give you the $100 back. You aren't out anything.

Interesting. This morning I received an offer from another brand new user who has a slighly similar name: pimpdaddy266. On ebay I require tracking for all purchases $50+ so I should be fine, but I remember seeing your post yesterday which is why I came back to post this. Hopefully somebody isn't creating a bunch of pimpdaddy accounts. The offer shows this person lives in NY state and includes the zip code as well.
