Well when I went off to college I lost my whole binder full of rcs. I had about 20 kobe rcs, allen iverson, camby, basically that whole class of 96-97, 97-98 all tons of brands. Iincluding a Kobe Finest RC. That I really want back now.

When I was around 12ish (21 now) I lost my Terrell Davis (my favorite player) collection...it wasnt many (compared to what I have now) but I was real bummed.

A 94 SP ARod.
I had the set put together in a binder and the dups in a 100 count plastic case in 1994. One of those cards was an extra ARod. I took the case to 1 show to do some trading and somehow the ARod disappeared. I didn't notice for a month when I went looking for it. I still think it will turn up someday because I know I didn't trade it. If it was stolen, I hope the guy has been on welfare the last 10 years.

I didn't lose my cards. But I had a bunch of O-Pee-Chee 1991-92 cards. Turns out they're worth a pretty penny today. But don't worry, I didn't lose them!
See, I stapled the cards together to make sure I wouldn't lose them. I was smart back then.

In the mid-80's, my brother and each had one of those football sticker books (each page had a different team and you collected packs of stickers to fill in the players.) We got bored with them, so we decided to make our own book and fill it with our football cards.

My brother was a Dolphins fan and had two Dan Marino RCs. He "laminated" them with scotch tape and glued them to our Dolphins page. He still winces anytime I bring it up.

The best card I ever lost was a Larry Bird Cut auto (from a check). I forget, but I think it was fleer.

I had that card, along with a bunch of my "in-person" auto's from a Pacers game back years ago, I had Mullin, R. Miller, Bird, Both Davis', Al Harrington, Mark Jackson, Travis Best, Rik Smits,A. Croshere, and a couple of others all sign a piece of paper that I had.
When I moved a couple of years ago, the box they were in somehow never made it, or was accidentally thrown away (probably my wife....doh!!)

I used to keep all of my "good" cards in an old shoe box, lost the entire box during a move. There wasn't any real high dollar cards in it or anything new, but I had quite a few Jordan inserts and some rookies. The best thing I can remember from it was a 89 Score Randy Johnson rookie, when I checked the BV on it a few years ago it was $125, glad to know it's probably alot less now.

Irish's post reminded me, my Hoops Kendall Gill RC auto was in that box also! How I wish I still had that cash cow. Anyone else ever get one of the random auto cards for $9.95 or something like that? It was a little paper that came around in a Val-pak type envelope full of coupons and stupid offers.
