Not really lost but I was putting my Mario Lemieux rookie card in a top loader it was in the EX-EXMT range and I didn't notice there was some sticky stuff on the loader and BAM! nice creased card :(

lost a topps Ken Griffey JR rc way back in the day. no idea where it is. worst oops:
spilled glass of water on 4 GU cards. completely ruined.

Good thread, I was thinking of something like this the other day. I pulled a Ronnie Brown Topps Chrome Gold Refractor, and right before I was going to put it on eBay, I realized I couldnt find it. Ive looked everywhere, my only thought is that it somehow fell into a bag of garbage that was lying on the floor while I cleaned up my house. I guess that's a good reason not to clean.

I had a '63 Willie Mays that disappeared. My younger brother has one that looks just like it, he said since he was born in 63 he could have one! Then one time at a card show, I had a 1970 Nolan Ryan walk off my table. I also was told basketball & football card would never be worth anything & a guy gave me $5 for all my cards from the 60's, including Unitas, Starr, and a 68-70 #1 Wilt Chamberlain! I fooled him, I kept my Jim Hart & Pat Tilley cards. fdgowin

Just a follow up on mine... I did find my press plate lol. I went through my room and couldnt find it. I had about 20 stacks of cards on my Card Table in my computer room and in the last one (the one that if I didnt find it I was gunna say forget it) it was in there. I have no clue why I put it there.
This has been a pretty interesting post keep them up!

lost or stolen?? as far as lost goes I lost a 49ers team set from 81 I really don't miss it I have always been a Cowboys fan.

I traded mine away ...
In 1987 I traded a Fleer Jordan rookie for my favorite player .... a 1987 Donruss Mike Greenwell rookie. What a great move that was.
To this day I still have the other cards from that Fleer pack the Jordan came in.
