Medically speaking... Nope. They are both things doctors prescribe to fix medical problems and are covered (until the other day) by insurance.
The birth control pill is used by doctors to treat many disorders and diseases, NOT just prevent pregnancy. Google "medical reasons for using birth control" and then tell me again why those women shouldn't get their medicine. Please feel free to message me here about my electronic bay & COMC listings

How about the fact they just raised their minimum wage to $14 an hour for full timers?

Same reason they should provide access to birth control. The 401k is part of your compensation as an employee (just like insurance, see my related post) and as such it's YOUR money in the 401k and it should be invested in anything YOU the employee want to invest in. My employer shouldn't be deciding where I can or can't invest MY retirement savings (or my doctor's treatment of me) Why is the supreme court giving employers SO MUCH SAY in their employees life's? Abortion/Sex/Birth Control/Lady Parts aside... why is the supreme court siding again and again with companies OVER people?

Yeah they pay full timers $14 and part time 9.50. I'm assuming only the full time employees are the ones who are affected by the insurance as well.

First off, I believe 16 birth control options exist in the plan. Secondly, it is not remotely the same as a heart transplant. Third, no one said the women can't have there medicine, they just need to purchase it themselves. I'm sick of this war on women garbage.

I'd imagine you would be free to take what you would put in the companies 401k plan to a private investor if you desired. Just like you can go get a different health plan if you have a problem with the one offered. I think Barack has a few options available...

Hobby lobby is not ran by doctors and should not be in the business of making medical decisions as far as what is good enough for them to cover and what is not.Drug and smoke free trading.

Hobby lobby as a business, is deciding what they want to pay and not pay for. They can do as they please.
Take the religious aspect out of it. They should be able to offer any plan, or no plan if they choose. It's their company not yours.
