no you can't be forced to print tees for a homosexual wedding if you don't want to. That's absurd. However, Bob and Steve can give you bad press if they approach you for business and you refuse.
Being forced to make a product and being forced to follow regulations of what they must provide their workers are completely different things. No one is forcing HL to start selling porn or some product they don't feel they want to stock. They are free to sell what they want within the law. You're comparing apples to oranges. Surely you can see the difference?

Right, but first the liberals forced individuals to get health insurance and forced companies to provide insurance to there employees according to regulations handed down to them. Without these government enforced regulations, we'd never have the issue with religion.

What if a Hobby Lobby employee has an allergic reaction to shellfish? Will they pay for his treatment?
Leviticus 11:9-12.
And if Hobby Lobby is so against abortion and certain types of birth control, then why does their employee 401K invest in companies who produce contraceptive and abortifacient drugs?Last edited by *censored*; 07-01-2014 at 11:27 PM.

The government already forces corporations to do all sorts of things that may be at odds with thier religious beliefs... anti-discrimination laws for example.
Why is this any different? Why does my bosses religious feelings have any sway over the type of medical coverage I get at my job. Thre's something else that nobody on here has talked about: What about the very real and medically necessary uses for the birth control pill that have NOTHING to do with preventing pregnancy? It's a card trading website so I won't get into the details but lots of women are prescribed the pill as treatment for medical 'issues' -- SCOTUS just threw all those women under the bus too in the name of religion. Please feel free to message me here about my electronic bay & COMC listings

The money your company pays to your insurance provider is part of YOUR compensation, just like your salary. Imagine if your company said "Here's your salary, but you can't use it for alcohol, tobacco, meat, or anything else we don't like. It's my religious law."

Well apparently I can be forced to print tees, or be sued for not doing it.
