so Jake Gardiner pushes him closer to Anderson where Anderson reaches around and touches his back with the glove hand. if it was on his stomach or the legs sure thats ok thats goalie interference for sure but cmon he can't grab him with his glove hand and have that still be goalie interference.

also where Sharky and I were getting at Babcock does it again on a icing. 'accidentally' puts the wrong guy out there. Make that a delay of game penalty. I bet no one will ever accidentally go out there ever again on a Icing call

Oh c'mon, Backstrom interfeared on that play. Im not sure what you were watching! Backstrom's hands in the air showed he was guilty.. Always a conspiracy!!
That Oshie 5th goal was huge for the Caps. So close but yet so far. Either way Leafs fans should be proud of this team. We are definitely not playing like a team that squeeked into the playoffs on the second to last day of the season. Not that i am done with this season yet but i sure cant wait to see what we look like next year. If we could get a good defenceman or 2, maybe a #1, wow, things would get exciting for sure!

The real Washington Capitals finally presented themselves. They are big and skilled down low, really good at cycling in the Leafs zone. Leafs had no business winning that game and they didn't. Still impressed they managed to hang around them all game. Although that 5th capitals goal.. wow that was terrible coverage by every Leaf on the ice and Andersen was soft. 2-2 we will take it

That was a BS call on Kadri!! Ovechkin seen him coming & tried to get out of the way of the hit & instead caused that injury. At what point is the onus on the player about to take a hit responsible for his own injury. Its like the guy who turns at the last second & gets hit from behind. Ovechkin sure likes to hit people but doesnt like it when it happens to him. I hope he's out for a while. Looks good on him. I've always had respect for Ovechkin, i mean he's 1 of the best pure goal scorers of all time but after this, he's lost my respect. He's a coward. Sure likes to hit guys but doesnt like it himself. He's a coward & nothing more!!

Have to agree. How the heck is that a trip? If you insist on calling it, it's roughing but that was clean. All Kadri did was get low and brace himself. Ovechkin jumped into him. As I said, uneven officiating once again

Kadri is garbage. At this point I don't know who is a worse coward him or Brad Marchand. This is why we need Enforcers, cowards like Kadri running around clipping star players in the knee.

No doubt!! You have no clue pal. Its funny, no one else thinks that was a dirty hit but you. The only thing dirty about that was the way that whiner Ovechkin acted like he was hurt. The way he layed there was like the season was over, then he comes back & runs at Gardiner, then spears Kadri in the ribs. I can see why you like Ovechkin!!

Either way, no matter what happens in this series now i am thrilled with how we played in this series. We went toe to toe with the best team in hockey this year & more than held our own. I am so proud of my team & I am super excited for next year.
If washington gets through this series they're path to the Finals goes through Pittsburgh & they will choke somewhere along the line, its just what they do & I will be chearing for the other teams no matter who they play. Ovechkin has lost all respect from me & I would imagine there is a line up of people who think the same as i do.
