Houston we have a problem! Campbell has lost his confidence. For the last several weeks if not months his rebound control has been terrible and last night was no different. He is also not positioned properly in his net as he was last year and the beginning of this year and i don't know what it will take to get his confidence back. Those that bash the Leafs D need to look at the difficult situations Campbell's subpar goaltending puts them in. It is hard enough to be a solid d man when a goalie is the top of his game, but when one is playing terribly according to their standards, then obviously the issue grows deeper.

There was a question on social media on who has the more serious goal tending issue, the Leafs or the oilers and my response to that is they are similar but the leafs have a much better team and are in a better situation being in a playoff spot. That is just based on the statistics and the standings, but who would have thought that Campbell and Mrazek would be as crap as the joke that is the oiler's goal tending situation? Well, they are there. Dubas, your move!!

Gotta luv these Habs fans with nothing better to do because they're Loser Team sucks. I dont even have to read it i know exactly what it says though even if i didnt i couldnt be bothered wasting my time especially since where its coming from.
Hey Piper, go look & see how many goals Corey Perry has or Phil Danault or Kotkaniemi since they left that loser team of yours. This Happens to every team in the League except Montreal because nobody good wants to play there anyways lol. Should go check Barabanov's stats too, Leafs let him leave as well. Maybe that will give you something to do since there's no hockey in Montreal or Ottawa this year, well, none worth watching anyways..

& for the record, i only start on the Habs when those guys come here & talk trash first. You would think that when your team is in Last Place you wouldnt have much to say about any Team, it makes they're opinions pointless & mute. Only in Montreal!!

If the Leafs management thinks we can win on a nightly basis with this defence playing the way they are then they need to give they're heads a shake. I keep saying the longer we wait to make some moves the worse its going to get. Sandin didnt even play last night & we were still horrible. 2 of those Goals just squeeked through Campbell. I dont think Campbell is the problem, i think its the D in front of him. When the Leafs D were playing well Campbell played well, when our D started to falter so did Campbell. In no way do i put this on Campbell, he got us where we are now, now the rest of the Team needs to step up they're play.
Matthews did everything he could to get us back in that game. He had a few nice chances to tie that game up in the 3rd but it didnt happen.

Yeah, we actually have a discussion going, you should try it sometime instead of just spamming stuff that has nothing to do with the actual thread. At least when i comment it has to do with the thread at hand.

Now, back to talking about the Leafs..

Every morning i get up & hope to see that the Leafs made a Trade but none again today!! C'mon Dubas, Boston is right on our heels now, only 2 points back & Tampa & Florida have both pulled away from us again. We cant be giving away any more points.
Leafs vs Columbus tonight!! Hopefully a better effort than last time we played them a week or so ago. Mrazek gets the Start.
