Canada Post strike
Thought I would create this thread that all Canadian card traders and collectors could post updates on seeing that this could cause problems when it comes to shipping and receiving cards

They are still talking so no strike as long as the talks are progressing in thr right direction apparently. I will be keeping a close eye on it, as they can trigger a strike notice anytime on/after November 3rd so we will have to see how this unfolds.
As a collector, I want things to go smooth of course with the mail, but on the human side, I am hoping these opposing sides can reach a fair deal for the workers involved. Things have been tough these last few years with cost of living, etc, etc.Jhonas Enroth Card Collector & Host of the Hidden Content

But Canada Post strikes every 2 years. They raise the price every year, this year they are doing it TWICE within 8 months and this one is huge. $1.00 Permanent stamps are going up 25% and apparently every stamp cost is going up at least 25 cents, but permanent stamps being the majority of stamps sales is going up 25% (25 cents).
Canada Post had huge losses so... may as well give the employees even more money, right?
It's tough for me at my wage, I am guessing most employees at Canada Post make more than me.Master List: Hidden Content

Working for Canada Posts used to be a great job for people without much scolarity in small towns. Not sure how things are now, the offer on the table seems low vs the inflation we saw in the past few years.
Parcels and Express are very expensive services now. The rates are still decent for PWE and bubble mailers inside Canada.
I hope that they can find solutions that are fair to everyone.
