Lajoie-1
Frisch-1
Morgan-5
I went with Morgan and he is gone. I like his broadcasting but some of his numbers don't belong with the other guys. Its very tough to keep a guy with a .270 batting average and the least about of hits (other than Robinson) unless he was awesome stats in almost every other catagory which he does not.
Here is who is left:
Jackie Robinson: 1518H, 273-2B, 54-3B, 137HR, 947R, 734RBI, 197SB, .311BA, .409OB, .474SLG
Rogers Hornsby: 2930H, 541-2B, 169-3B, 301HR, 1579R, 1584RBI, 135SB, .358BA, .434OB, .577SLG
Nap Lajoie: 3242H, 657-2B, 163-3B, 83HR, 1502R, 1599RBI, 380SB, .338BA, .380OB, .467SLG
Eddie Collins: 3315H, 438-2B, 187-3B, 47HR, 1821R, 1300RBI, 744SB, .333BA, .424OB, .429SLG

Jackie Robinson - It's tough to pick anyone now. Other than home runs, he might not have even touched Frankie Frischs numbers.
Jackie is the weakest link - Goodbye

Carew was voted off 2 rounds ago. And he only played a little bit of First Base.

While Jackie Robinson had enormous impact on baseball, based purely on on field contribution, his relatively shorter MLB career makes him low man. By the way Rod Carew played 1184 games at 1B compared to 1130 at 2nd.

Hmm.
He did play more games at first base.
I got the list of players from the MLB All Century Team and they had Carew as a second baseman. I remembered him as a second baseman as well so that's why I put him there.
I'm also going to have to make some more calls with other players as we get to other positions. Too bad they just can't stick at one postion.
