The 49ers were tempted to take one of 2 WR's at this spot. Either Dwayne Jarrett or Ted Ginn Jr. But that was until the Titans passed up on a CB with their pick. Now the choice is easy. With the 11th pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers select Leon Hall, CB, Michigan University. Although the 49ers have tow very good CB's in Nate Clements and Walt Harris, Hall is just too good a player to pass up. Besides, Harris isn't getting any younger. With Hall, the 49ers will now have one of the best, if not the best, Defensive Backfield in the NFC. This will really help them with divisional opponents like St Louis and Arizona, whom love to throw the ball. The Niners also need a WR but we are sure they can get a quality WR in the 2nd round.

The Buffalo Bills are very excited at this point, while we believe in drafting best talent available we also recognize 3 very quality players at key positions of need. Those players are Patrick Willis LB, Marshawn Lynch RB, and Darrelle Revis CB.

We have lost Takeo Spikes, Willis McGahee, and Nate Clements this offseason, 3 Pro Bowl talented starters and we are looking to rebuild, and therefore the immediate needs need to be filled. Revis may be a little bit of a stretch right here, while we love his athletic ability and physical ability, CB may not be the best option here. RBs are a dime a dozen, and even sitting here today see some quality RBs in the free agency pool or still available so we can address RB elsewhere or later in the draft, we feel the best player left on the board and of great value to a position of need is Patrick Willis, LB from Mississippi. He brings amazing athleticism and speed to such a key position on defense, and we cannot let him slip away.

With that said, the 12th pick in the NFL Draft the Buffalo Bills select Patrick Willis.

Well, it is tha for the Rams to draft. Our needs are simple; DEFENSE, DEFENSE, DEFENSE. Our defensive line is Leonard Little...and little else. With his other prior off field problems, if he gets in any other incidents, the line is in trouble. We need a linebacker depth along with a starting corner opposite Tye Hill. We also need a 3rd WR, since Curtis and McDonald are gone whilt Bruce and Holt get another year older. We can get that in the 2nd round--Anthony Gonzalez (OSU) or Steve Smith (USC) comes to mind. So with the 13th pick in the NFL draft, the ST. Louis Rams draft...

Jamaal Anderson, defensive end, Oklahoma.

He will give them a big pass rush on the line and can help keep the running game honest. Remember, they face Alexander, James and Gore twice a year.

Panthers Select Miami (Fla.) tight end Greg Olsen The Panthers will closely evaluate the type of defensive players that will remain on the board for rounds 2-3 as they would like to come away with an offensive playmaker, inside linebacker and safety on day one. Olsen would serve as both a pass-catching threat in the middle of the field and a decoy capable of opening things up receiver Steve Smith and running back DeAngelo Williams. His presence would also make the unit a speed-oriented offense similar to others in the NFC South. This is not the Pick i would go with but this makes sense and might Happen. I Believe the Panthers Need a Young WR to Groom for the Future maybe a Ted Gin Jr or a Dwayne Jarrett, but hey Panthers always draft crappy

The Steelers have a hole in the defense and for the first time in team history, that hole is at linebacker. The team needed another stud linebacker even when Joey Porter was still on the roster. Now it becomes the top priority. There are a couple of possibilities but the we feel as though we got our guy that could be the next great Steelers LB. So, with the 15th pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Lawrence Timmons, LB, Florida State. The Steelers need a playmaker on defense and that is exactly what Timmons brings. He didn't show as well as expected at the Combine so his stock dropped a bit, which is fine with the Steelers because we feel as though he might be the steal of the draft. He pocesses enough raw talent to be a pass-rushing threat right away and there is a ton of upside to his overall ability. He will be a future Pro-Bowler!!!

We have many options for this 16th overal pick, we are looking at WR, RB, and CB with this pick. We have a top tier WR in Driver, but he is getting old and injury prone. Greg Jennings is one of our WRs of the future, but after Jennings we don't have much. After Johnson, the talent of WR goes way down and we could fill our other needs. We are looking for a new running back after the departure of Ahman Green to Houston. CB we would be looking into the future for, Woodson is getting old and is very injury prone. Brett Favre will be playing again this year, so we should bring in talent for around him. With that being said, the Green Bay Packers select with the 16th overal pick Marshawn Lynch, RB out of California. We feel we can select a WR later in the draft and Lynch was the best possible talent we could use with Favre and our offence.

The Jaguars sit here at 17 seeing a few areas of need which could be addressed. Safety, Defensive End, and Wide Receiver are all areas of concern. Wide receiver were looking at Robert Meachem,Teddy Ginn, or Dwane Bowe, DE were looking at Adam Carriker or Jarvis Moss, and at Safety were looking at Reggie Nelson.

Nelson would be a huge addition, with the loss of Grant in the offseason, and could be a marketing perspective too as he played at Florida, but can we afford taking a Safety in the 1st round?

We feel Carriker has climbed the most of the players left in the recent weeks/months previous to the draft and that raises some red flags because we are leary of combine hype and want a playmaker, but his size and ability to play both DE and DT are impressive.

and WR we feel Meachem is the top WR left, but this seaons draft has so much WR depth we could probably add a solid WR in the 2nd or 3rd round, so we will lean away from WR.

We really like Carriker, but feel maybe its a bigger risk reward, but he is the highest player left on our list and at a position of need, so why not take the best player available. With the 17th pick in the NFL draft the Jacksonville Jaguars select Adam Carriker, DE from the University of Nebraska.

The Bengals are on the clock. The biggesat needs are defense, especailly at linebacker and defensive backfield. With Pollack out with a possibly career ending neck injury and with Thurman rusty from a year-long suspension, they are very thin. But this is not a deep LB draft, so we go to the DBs.

Dealtha O'Neal is slipping (again) and with Tory james off to New England, we need fresh CBs. With tha in mind...the Cincinnati Bengals select...

Darrelle Rivas, CB, Pittsburgh

he is probably the best shutdown CB in the draft--Hall is more of a Cover 2 corner--and can return kicks, as he took 2 punts back for scores last year.
And with Sean Gilbert as his uncle, he has, IMHO, a NFL influence to show him the right things to do in the league--did I mention that the Bengals lead the league in the police blotter?

David Givens recovery from a serious knee injury plus the free-agency losses of Drew Bennett and Bobby Wade have created a hole at receiver. The 19th pick could allow them to find a playmaker such as Robert Meachem, Dwayne Jarrett or Dwayne Bowe.
