why would lebron get it? its the person who makes there team the best. mvp (most valuable player) most valuable to the players team, thats why chris paul shouldve won it, the hornets would be lost without paul but with gasol and bynum being on the team it shoulde given paul the advantage. but i still LOVE the fact kobe won. end point, lebron makes his team worse in my opinion

you hate on lebron way to much with your lebrick james and those comments.

as far as kobe, it should have gone to cp3. kobe played better last year then he did this year. cp3 made his team better by himself. kobe and LA got better because of Pau Gasol.

and yeah, the cavs are way better of without bron, never met a bron hater like that before.

I agree with my cousin, lebron is (one of) the best player in the league and what bowler said is kind of not true, you say a MVP makes the team better, lebron makes the team better...they lost the majority of the games when he was out and was like 8th in the east and they are now 4th since he came back from getting hurt, he makes the team better just as cp3 does, he just doesn't have the players around him to make a huge impact like kobe or cp3.

oh please, he is a baby. "there trying to hurt me" like he wouldnt go after arenas? he would've if he had the chance. he cant shoot which he think he can, in the fourth quarter threw up 3 threepoint shots that airballed, (nothing out of the norm). he is in no way the best in the league, would you like to argue that he is a better OVERALL BASKETBALL player than kobe?

WELL...MVP is about making a team better right? ...right and kobe is a selfish ball hog, as most people would like to say and lebron is more of a team player even though when he is down he controls the game because he wants to win...but kobe takes it over for the whole game and lets no one else have a touch except pau now that hes there....and kobe was going to leave if he didn't get another "superstar" so he only thinks of himself not the team, thanks.

gosh, you make him sound like he's luke schenscher or something. give me a break. all he said is: if thats how they wanna play, then they can play that way, but its not gonna stop me". i dont see that as a complaint. the only people that do are you and brendan haywood. honestly i think the only reason you dont like him is because he single handidly took out detroit last yer, and he didnt do it all on layups, he has a shot.

yu saying he missed an airball is like a low ball trader. like someone who finds the lowest price the other persons card has sold for on ebay. accept in this case your finding the lowest points of brons career, which there arent many.

Not too surprising, except that they left Lebron off the list of most likely receipients.....and thoughts/opinions?

can't win mvp if you don't have the wins to back it up
    45 W won't get it done

otherwise, kobe should have won it back in 05-06 with 45 wins of his own and he had kwame brown and smush parker in his starting 5.

    lol
since when is 28pts, 5assists per game at the shooting guard position being a ball hog?
he's still top 10 in assist average at his position that includes the hybrid pg/sg's like iverson and wade, top 5 in assist total (again including hybrid pg/sg)

maybe the lakers improved when they got gasol, basically any team wins because they are a good team overall. kobe is their leader though, and so i think that factors into hiw worthiness for mvp.
